A Girl & A Gun Women's Shooting - OKC Chapter

Last night was the official launch of the OKC Chapter of A Girl & A Gun. We had a great turnout, over 30 women of all skill levels joined in on the fun. Lisa Looper (the mastermind behind the Flashbang holster) and I are going to head up this chapter, feel free to contact me for more details.

If any of you ladies are in the OKC area and would like to join us, we meet at H&H Gun Range on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 6-8pm for "Girls Night Out". You can bring your own firearms or use one of ours.

We are going to offer some NRA basic pistol classes thru this program, I now have a place to teach and a place to shoot (YAY!)

I'm STILL waiting on my certification back from OSBI before I can teach SDA (conceal carry). Yesterday was 11 weeks since I sent off for it.

I can believe it! Nothin better then a woman that can handle a gun (properly) idk what ide do if I saw that many women doing it at the same time :w00t: :banplease:

It's nice to hear that we have some serious shooters of the fairer sex. I was at the range last week and four girls had enrolled in a learn to shoot program. They sounded like they were really enjoying themselves. All four seemed very enthusiastic and they encouraged each other to shoot well. They weren't half bad for beginners. I enjoyed watching them shoot.

we had all skill levels attend. a few of the ladies had never even picked up a firearm before, and we had one lady join the group that competes at Camp Perry.

I have quite a few woman shooters at my range with some serious fire power too I might add. Don't mess with those Jersey Girls....

When I took my CC class several years ago, there were more women in the class than men. Some were very good & others had never fired a gun before.

It is good to see more women shooting at our gun club. We have some world class women shooters there too.

I think you meant Toledo and that was Klinger. The only dress that I ever wore was a set of dress blues. :)
