The previous post got a little off track so I'm starting a part two with some stands I've been working on over the last few weeks. Nothing very much out of the ordinary except these fix some problems I've had with my target stand that I did last year.
I built these three around IDPA cardboard targets. Just change the width of the front and back pieces to match your target of choice. I only had an IPSC target handy so the sample target looks a little wonky because they run a little skinnier than the IDPA targets.
I didn't like having all targets at the same height and our berms are tall enough to allow shooting at stuff 6' off the ground so rather than 3 identical 4' 2" tall targets, these range from 6' to 4' 8", but use the same 4' vertical wood.

I shoot quite a bit of video so I added these shooters boxes while I was at it today. They should make lining up the video shots much easier.

My current stands blow over way too often. I decided to kill two birds with one stone by adding these sub gauge spacers loaded with lead shot. They add weight and also give me the target height variation I was looking for. The lead is optional, but around here it's windy almost all the time.

Parts list and "how-to" will be added to the blog at some point. I'm really pleased how these turned out for 2 1/2 hours of work and 30 minutes of that was cleaning up after myself.
