The Kahr 7 round magazine itself is not "flush fitting" (even without a base plate), but you can get a metal base plate that has a slightly smaller foot print than the ploy base plate. http://www.kahr.com/Magazines/Kahr-Steel-Magazine-Base-Kit-9-mm-and-40-SandW.asp

Some folks just sand down the poly base plates.

Why doesn't Kahr offer that for the CW45 magazines?

FireMoose, I made my own baseplate for my CW9 out of CNC machined aluminum, and then hard anodized it black. It looks awesome! It cost me more to make than I was expecting, so I plan to sell some to make that up. I have my first batch done, but need to fix one thing before they are ready to sell.

LorenzoB,
Have you considered making one for the P45 or CW45? There's a market for them waiting to be exploited. I've thought about cutting down a stock P45 mag and welding on a steel flat base plate but I have no skills along those lines.

As an alternative to cutting and welding, you might consider a slightly modified Officer's/Compact size 1911 magazine. They can be made to work reliably in the CW/P 45 (YMMV).
I haven't carried a Kahr magazine in my CW45 for nearly two years (I very rarely even use a Kahr .45 mag at the range):

Greg, I did modify one Kimber officer size mag using a Kahr spring and follower. It works well. However, it's not as flush as I would like and when I have it side by side with the stock Kahr mag it dose not seem to sit at the same angle. That's why I thought the ideal set up would be to shorten the stock mag.
