Here is an article of one who favors gun control but fears that it would be ineffective anyway. Why? The gun control advocate talks about someone who posted how to make a functioning receiver for an AR15 with a 3-dimensional printer (http://www.forbes.com/sites/markgibbs/2012/07/28/the-end-of-gun-control/).
