Congrats to Gold Medalist Kim Rhode, she's quite a shooter:

Ditto that, she's an incredible shooter. The stock on her shotgun is just drop dead gorgeous too.

I'm happy for her, she worked hard for it.

That was really cool. From the land of the free and home of the 2nd amendment.

I'm surprised the brits let a gun into the country. No offense intended.

wow.... I'm sure the national TV coverage has hade a really big star out of her, and all the talk being about her being the first olympian to medal in five consecutive olympics.......

I haven't been interested in the olympic coverage in 25+ years

I've never once seen any shooting event broadcast in any Olympics. I'd love to watch em shoot a round of trap.

don't you remember when we was kids? They showed a little of the rimfire competition and the archery during the summer events, and showed the cross country ski event where they stop and shoot targets at designated stations. Admitedly they didn't show as much of that as the "field events", but the fairy dancing in the gym wasn't the "main event" either. Now it's all about the inside gym stuff and the ice skating "pretty boy" stuff. That and the whole "world peace and love" thing. I almost miss those years when it was us against the commies as a way to covertly fight the cold war. To be honest though, the '72 (I believe that's the year) Mexico City Olympics was the one that actually started turning me away from the whole thing .... with the exception of my favorite boxer of all times (George Foreman) starting his career.

her early age, she has qite a fewmore olympics to compete in. One thing about skeet shooting, until ur eyes goout, u can shoot competetve until ur n ur 70's, if u choose todo so. She willbe backand she will be a medalist again and again.

We need to enlist her as OUR KAHR GIRL.

Just sayin

The news coverage indicated the shotgun she used in the previous four olympics was stolen and that this one was built and paid for with donations. Glad to see she shoots even better with the new gun, as she set a new olympic record, (99/100). Good for her.
