I recently bought a CW9 for my CCW I did carry a LCP for a few months and decided to step up to a larger caliber. I would always carry the LCP in my pocket. I found that I really needed missed that extra pocket my LCP sat in.
Any ways I wanted to know what you guys use to carry your CW's in? I am looking for IWB for the summer and fall is not to far off so I am open to OWB carry. Any suggesting and picks would be helpful and much appreciated
Thanks

I don't carry IWB much, haven't found a holster that works for me, guess I'm too fat,LOL. Mostly I carry OWB and I use a Bianchi Carry Lock. It is the mod 82 Colt Officer. It hugs the body as it is curved, and really hides well, no printing with a loose shirt, and living in the northwest, we wear light jackets more often than not, so it's hidden even better. I'm sure you'll get many suggestions. Go to a store and try them on, see what works.

I use a Galco King Tuk for my cw40. Very happy with it.

I just made a thread about the silent thunder solo, great for smaller guns

When I IWB I use a comp-tac minotaur neutral for my cw9 and carry over my front pocket. I also make jimbar look skinny. Great holster for iwb and will tuck in just fine.

For me, my CW45 (a bit bigger than a CW9) generally goes in one of three holsters.
A Sticky holster (the Remora holster caused a skin rash) for those quick grab and go to the store occasions.
I also use that holster inside a cheap fanny pack when doing things like bicycling in town. For outdoor activities in the mountains the 44M in owb gets the nod and the CW stays home.
If I need to tuck in the shirt, which is not all that often, then it goes in to Garrett silent thunder usually with the j-hook.
Most of the time when untucked, it stows away in the PJ holster iwb with fbi cant+5% and clips over the belt.
If I had to pick only one, at this point I'd take the PJ first as it seems to be the most comfortable for me. If I had to tuck in the shirt and could only order one, the PJ tuck-able might get the nod as it stands today.
As far as which holster connection type; over the belt, j-hook or c-hook and so on, that is a personal preference and how much you are ok with showing on your belt when tucked. If you are not tucked, then over the belt is probably the best at weight distribution, but if tucked, that may still show some even when you blouse your shirt a bit, so a j-hook or c-hook may be the better choice for you. It's your call.
You may still end up with a box-o-holsters until you find what is right for you.
Lastly, a good stiff belt helps a lot for all day carry.

I recently ordered a Theis iwb. I picked it because I have a CT laser and the kydex covers to the end of the barrel and tapers off while staying open at the end. I really like it. I had a don hume and didn't like it, but that's just me. You'll find yourself with a box full before it's said and done.
