I was reading a (longish) thread and appears to me quite a few of us Kahr owner have received or enjoyed warranty service / replacement. May be this thread can gather up all the happy owners in one pot :w00t:

As the OP, I have the honor to go first :D

PM9 - Ni plating peeling in the chamber.
* Kahr replaced the barrel twice to make it right
* First replacement looks to be a "second" and failed to seat
* second replacement was a drop-right-in
* all back & forth shipping were on Kahr's tab

That's all I have.

p380 had to send to Kahr. They did not tell me what they did but they obviously replaced the spring because it was much easier to rack when I got it back.

Flawless since getting it back. Kahr paid for everything.

I bought a used K9 that was worked on by an idiot.

Kahr fixed in a week, free.

New springs and something else, can't remember, but it only cost me shipping.

Very happy with Kahr service.

My CW40 began hanging up at the range and when I got home I found one of the metal rail broken. I sent it to Kahr on their dime and a few days later Ian called, said the frame was toast and the barrel was pitted and I would be getting a new CW 40 shipped back. All within two weeks.
I'm a happy camper

I have had 3 experiences with Kahr warranty. Each time, they went the EXTRA mile in making sure things were right. I think the key is in articulating your issues thoroughly, legibly, and accurately. They want to get it right, too ... some people have a hard time believing this. 2 of the three experiences were with T9's (2 different ones). On both occasions they could only resolve most of the issues, leaving some relatively minor issue (minor would be something that doesn't necessarily affect 'critical' operations of the handgun .... i.e grip fit, seating of a sight, etc.) so they replaced a frame ... or a slide and a frame.

I'm not going to blow sunshine in a direction where it just doesn't shine ... I DO wish Kahr quality control was better and they put out a more reliable and consistent product. BUT It is rewarding to know that they do stand behind the product and WILL make it right, without trying to cut corners or otherwise minimize their cost impact.

I love the Kahr design and engineering. For the way I carry and use a handgun it is the best of all the alternative products from other manufacturers that I have found. Because of their service department, I have the confidence to say I would replace the handguns I own with more of the same if I needed to.

The OP wanted happy owners. You should delete your post and not ruin the intent of his thread.

I'd read it a happy owner myself. If a person would replace what they own with another of the same product, I'd call that happy.
I agree actually on all counts. I'd like to see it even better and I believe they are in the process of working towards that same goal.

I've already told the story of the little MK9 we recovered from the bottom of Puget Sound after nearly a month. Any company that would make that like new on their dime including a new barrel afterwards is aces in my book.

Some of ya'll might remember recently I posted about buying a new CW9 with no rifling in the barrel:o. Discovered it on a Monday, called Kahr, had a FedEx sticker emailed within 30 min., shipped it off that afternoon and had it back in my hands IIRC Thursday PM. That was the 6th handgun I'd bought in my life from 5 different companies that had "issues" out of the box and none came close to that kind of service. Yea, the rifling issue shouldn't have happened in a "perfect world" but in our world of mass production, "stuff" happens. Kahr made a happy camper out of me.....happy enough I bought a CM9 a month later:D.

I bet that you have inspected the barrel for rifling before you said 'wrap it up". LOL

I actually thought JFootin was being facetious.

I think I met/meet the qualifications of the OP, but just in case anyone needs it spelled out ....

My service issues were wonderful ... and I'm happy.... LOL (but I think I already said that).
