I have tried on numerous occasions with several different magazines and I get a lot of misfeeds. After dropping the slide on a full mag and cambering a round, I drop the mag, add another round and put the mag back in. At least 50% of the time I get a failure to feed on the second round. Anyone else ever have this trouble?

My KM40 Elite came NIB with one 5 round and one extended 6 round mag.
Purchased a second extended 6 round mag from Kahr.
I've shot about 1000 rounds using all three mags without any issues at all.
The little monster has been 100.00% reliable since break in using mostly
Winchester Ranger 180 gr HPs.

Have you checked the magazine spring to see if the free end is toward the front of the mag? Polishing the stripper bar part of the slide may help and maybe your magazine spring is too strong... too long?
I have mags for my SA Champion that are very hard to insert fully into the mag well with the slide closed and the mags full... 8 rounds. I don't carry that pistol, but I would not carry those mags for reloads! It's nice to find out stuff like that at the range and not in a self-defense situation!

This is how I add a round also but I've never had an issue like this with my K9. Does it do it with all your spare mags or just the one?
