If this has already been discussed then I apologize and ask that you point me in the right direction. I have searched around and really can't find much info on what holster most people favor when carrying a k9. I have a pj holster for my cw45 but looking for a good leather iwb holster for the 9. I typically like to carry my gun back by or above my wallet. I was thinking about trying a cross breed but before spending the money wanted to hear what experience other k9 owners have.

My preference is for something with a smaller footprint on the body, all finest Herman Oak Leather, with a fit to the gun that cannot be matched with kydex. What I am talking about is a fine and affordable holster made by James Dean Gunleather. Here is the one he made for my CM9.

When my CM9 slides in there, it says "I'm home!"
James doesn't have a working website, yet, but has a lot of his work displayed on his Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/jamesdeangunleather.

My crossbreed super tuck is by far the most comfortable and stable IWB I've used. After having used several other examples, I'll stick with the CBST.

I have the same James Dean holster as in JFootin's pic but mine is for a CW9...same footprint as your K9 just lighter

It's VERY comfey and the draw is real nice.
Everyone's different with holsters but I love mine and highly recommend one if you want a leather holster, the quality is outstanding.
He makes a IWB that's even smaller that I"d love to pick up one day.....

I use this Galco OWB holster with my Kaur, it holds my K9 firmly on strong side without printing.

Here's my K9 with a simple Bianchi. Conceals well, comfortable, stays put when combined with a good belt.

JFootin turned me on to him and I have two now.
Can't say enough about the quality and looks of his holsters.
He makes each one himself and you can tell he's a perfectionist.

I couldn't have said it better myself! :) I'll tell you, I consider it a fortunate privilege to know this holster artist before he becomes famous. Now, you can get one of his works of art in a few weeks and at a great price. When he is as famous as his talent is sure to make him, you will have to pay twice as much and wait 6 months or more.

I picked up a Theis Holster (http://theisholsters.com/index.php) and I am quite happy with it.

Less expensive than the Crossbreed, you don't have to pay more for the combat cut, and it carries the K9 very well. I have both the Crossbreed and the Theis, and would buy the Theis again.
And for a pocket mag holder, contact Beardog here on the Kahr Talk forum. Cool guy to do business with. :)

I just received a Hidden Hybrid Holster(HHH C1) this week for my Kahr K9. Got the K9 NIB on sale at Calibers Shooting range/store in July for about $550.00 + tax out the door. I was very concerned at first for everyday concealed carry with the K9 and with thick Kydex & Leather IWB hybrid holster. However, the Hidden Hybrid Holster with two metal spring belt clips works extremely well. I am 5'6" tall 186 pounds and have found the 3:00 position IWB to work without discomfort even while driving.
