I found a used P45 at a pawn shop a couple weeks ago and put a Bill down on it. Today my wife took me down to the shop and we picked it up. The recoil spring feels real weak so I ordered a new one from Kahr. Can't wait to shoot this gun.
I love my PM9 and my wife loves her new CM9. It will be cool to add the .45 to the group. I'm really digging these Kahr's right now.

Congrats on your new (to you) P45. I've never shot one of these, always had some type of a model 1911. So I would be interested on how these handle, let us know how you like it?

Me too. I have a CW45 that I am very partial to.

Rgr that. I can't wait to shoot it and report back.
Hey, comparing the spring tention between my PM9 and the P45, the PM9 has WAY more spring tention when pulling the slide back. This is why I ordered a new recoil spring for the P45. The slide on the 45 seems too easy to pull back, and is a tad "sloppy", like there just isn't enough tension. Anyone able to tell me if the .45's are supposed to be this much easier to pull back than the 9's?

I suspect it would be easier. Larger guns always seem to be easier to cycle. There's a lot happening in not much area in the PM/CM series.
A new spring certainly won't hurt a thing but I'd be surprised if it's actually bad.
Having the 380, 9, and 45 guns to compare, I will say that the 45 and the T series 9 are the easiest to cycle. Still, for a few bucks, new springs are never a bad idea.
By the way, that's how I got my 45. Found it one day in my local pusher's shop. Let it sit a a month and the owner handed it to me and said, "Go shoot it". (he has an indoor range)
Three mags later with one ragged hole about the size of a snuff can to show for it, I knew I had to have it.
Mine shoots a little low with whatever I put through it though. Thinking the night sights are to blame, but I love it.

That's funny, mine came with night sights too.
