I just got the cw45 and love it. i have not had any jam after 100 rds but my cartridges look suspicious. the primers show a line rather than a clean dot indention from firing pin. Also of more importance, there is a small dent on the lip of the cartridges as if it is catching on something when leaving the pistol. sorry i havent figured the photo atachment for this forum yet but is there anyone who can tell me what to look for?

From what you said the primer is normal “primer firing pin smear“ as I have heard it called and the dent in the cartridge lip is also normal.

If you are into reloading the dent in the case lip will be straightened when you resize the case.

Check the Operating Instructions that came with you Kahr. If it is the similar to the ones that came with my P9 Covert and my MK9, there should be a section entitled "Note Regarding Primer Indent and Distorted Spent Cases" See if that is what you are experiencing and whether it applies to the CW45 as well. Let us know if you find that section. I would be curious to know whether the Instructions for the CW45 have the same section.

EDIT: Just went to the Kahr website and the Operating Instructions there have this information on page 23. Hope that helps. I don't have easy access to my Operating Instructions for my new MK9. I was looking at the Operating Instructions dated 2002, predating the CW series.

The most important thing is that your CW45 is running well :)

I get about the same thing from my CW45. No worries, it's functioning properly.
