I was just browsing the Kahr website for another holster. I have ordered the PJ IWB for my CW9 after taking in all the recommendations for it on here.
I saw on Kahr.com the "leather driving/crossdraw holster." It looks like it attaches to the seatbelt.

Has anyone ever used one of these or something similar for in the car use

...It looks like it attaches to the seatbelt.

Quote:

A leather flap, on the back of the holster, wraps around your belt to hold the holster in place
Uses quality, heavy duty snap fasteners for easy-on, easy-off without having to remove your belt.

Nice looking holster. Reasonable price, too. :) Not made for lefties.

I took a Springfield XD compact and attached a holster underneath the steering column. If you are standing outside the car you cannot see it.

I would prefer to have the gun on me instead of on the car or van thus I prefer something like the Andrews Custom Leather - Carjacker Crossdraw.

However I do like the option so I purchased a couple of Crossbreed like holsters with the intent of turning them into something akin to the Crossbreed Ohai which is intened to be velcroed to just about anything anywhere.

If you like your PJ holster why don't you contact Paul and have him make one for you? I don't believe they are pictured on his web site but I bet he can do it.

The only time it's attached to the steering column is when you are driving. It's awfully hard to draw and fire from an IWB or pocket holster when you are wearing a seat belt.

I understand that sir yet I still would prefer to have my firearm on me in something like that Andrews Custom leather Carjacker rig. Or some sort of bandolier rig.
