I tried out my new Wilderness belt today with a kydex pancake/CM9 at the 3 o'clock position. Very nice and rock solid. Totally impressed. Shorts and a T-shirt all thru Cabela's and Bass Pro without a worry.
I know there are a lot of nice belts out there but for anyone who is on the fence with this one I would recommend it.

I wore a Wilderness for a few years till the dang thing shrunk on me. It was a great belt. I've been meaning to get another one. Guess I'll try a little longer one and hope it don't shrink again.

I just got one too a few weeks ago and love it!
I have a thing for leather and have 2 real nice leather gun belts, but I really like the infinite adjustments on the Wilderness.

I bought the easy fit Instructor belt/5 stitch which allows for uh shrinkage. It has a huge adjustment. Allows for six pack developement. Buy one, drink beer, and eat ice cream.

Wow, that's new. I'm gonna get one of those pretty soon.
Just got one good leather belt and a second one for kicking around would be right handy.

I might have to try one of those. The infinite adjustability interests me, as I seem to be between holes on my leather belt a lot of the time. It looks like it would also solve the problem of multiple layers of belt and a belt keeper complicating things for left handed AIWB carry. I could insert my belt the opposite way, but that is the way women wear their belts. :(
That looks kind of pricy, dirtkicker. Did you shop around?

There are many cheap imposters, imports and such but they aren't nearly as good. The Wilderness is worth every penny.
I like the idea of this easy fit. The one I had was very limited in adjustment. I'm gonna try to order one today, wife seems in an ok mood, kind a sorta.

I have been using thewilderness frequent flyer for a couple of years now. I love the adjustability. Clothing has different thicknesses, meals have different amounts of food in them.

I was just browsing the Wilderness site and discovered that the Easy Fit belt is really designed for people who don't carry a weapon on their strong side. The velcro hook and loop goes further around the strong side than a standard instructor belt.
I doubt this would be an issue for IWB carry but I often carry OWB and prefer that. Might not be as convenient for that.
Sounds like a similar deal on the Frequent Flyer belt as well.
The original trainer belt has 1 3/4" adjustment either direction from the size you order. Seems like that would be enough. They mention ordering 1 " larger if you IWB a fat gun. (Glock owners take note). 1" larger might be the way to go.
I shall continue to ponder this new information.

It comes around to about 2 o'clock on me. I carry mostly at 3 and it worked ok. If you carry at 4 it will be fine. Or you could just put it on the other way, like a girl.

I did shop around and and it always turned out to be close. You can find the belt cheaper but then after shipping its not, so on and so forth. I figured I would just buy directly from the company and know I have an authentic wilderness belt. Money? Whats money? Easy come, easy go...:)

Yeah, me neither. I come from a long line of 'never been a democrat'. In Illinois no less.
Ryan/Blago...easy come, easy go. That is how it works, when its workin right.

It would work OK for me because I'm a lefty, so even AIWB would work. :D
I am wondering why the belt goes on in that direction? Why not just turn it the other way? Why all that warning about it interfering with strong side carry when it seems that there is such an easy solution?
Edit: I posed this question to them. We'll see what they have to say.
