I had one of their pocket holsters at one time and sold it when I sold the gun. It was a very nice holster. My model was in stock, so it was shipped very quickly. If I needed another leather holster, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another D.M. Bullard.

Yes David is a great holster maker. I used one of his Texas Conceal Carry rigs to pack my 1911 and a mag, SOB. After my back surgery in 2009, the thought of carrying over the scar was untenable. I gave it to a buddy. I will be talking with David at the gunshow this weekend about something to start carrying the 1911 again...

I think I want something cool looking, even though it will be IWB.

I've been looking at everything out there and tried the 2 clip type and found that A) they were uncomfortable B) Too Bulky and C) thta they were a pain in the ass to put on/off. Of al the single clip models, they are 95" kydex made and I don't want that kind of "Holster Wear" This is the ONLY one I found made of leather. Anything made in texas is usually made with Pride and quality. Thanks for your confirmations. I'l call him today. My one concern id the clip type used I always thought a J-Hook was more secure that the holster wouldn't come out still attached to the gun! Any thoughts about that?
I have 3 gun belts made by Jerry (Best Ever) and the retention of the clip is critical, to me.

With those good belts, the J-Hook might be OK. My experience was that, because it doesn't support itself on top of the belt, it would sag the waistband of my pants down behind the belt. Ugh!

Personally, I don't think a better IWB holster can be had for these small Kahrs than the PJ IWB Holster with over the belt clip (http://pjholster.com/?page_id=37). Perfect retention. No holster wear on the SS. Perfect can't-even-feel-it-there all day comfort!

Yeah, I wouldn't use a j-hook with a heavy gun.
