I'm trying to thin out some of my inventory. Have you seen any prices on a used Pristine MK9 with wood grips. I recently sold 6 of my 10 Kahrs and I plan on keeping only my K9 Elite 03. I'm having a hard time trying to figure a price for this one.

Ive seen them anywhere from $450 ( a bit low in my opinion, with the wood grips) to $610 (probably a little high with wood grips). Ive seen some with 4 or 5 magazines at the $650 range also. All in all $500 (low side) to $550 would be a good and fair price for all if in 'pristine' condition. Night sites or Elite (this one is apparently not) would kick it up from there.

Nice looking gun. It doesn't look like an elite 03. Does it have night sights? If you are advertising it with the original 2 mags, paperwork, box, Wood grips + original black grips with low shot count, I think it should bring the minimum of $599. If it were an elite o3 it would fetch $650. Anything less would certainly be a great buy for someone. These are prices I would consider if I were in the market to buy another one.

The little gun store that I go to on occasion had an Elite 03 with wood grips exactly like that last year with an $800 price tag on it. When I went back several months later it was gone but I didn't ask what they sold it for.

Most of the other items in the same store have seemed fairly priced to me, although the Kahr could have been a consignment item.

I looked at Buds on line sales and a new one like yours with wood grips would run $699 shipped free. (you would have to order the grips from Kahr) the MK9 is $652 shipped without wood. Wood is $58 + shipping from Kahr) You can go from there to set your price with or without shipping.

Man, that gun is gorgeous! Will you do a layaway plan? :behindsofa:

I don't know what it would go for around here. All I can say is that there is an MK40 in a LGS (used) all stock (plastic grips) and not an Elite and I think it has tritium sights, and they are asking $599.00. It has been there for a while.

That's exactly what I paid for a brand NIB MK40N that was four years old at the time. I don't know where it had been sitting for four years, but a plus was that it was built on my birthday, February 29, 2008.

All I can say is that gun was made for you to own, it's called destiny. That gun was sitting on a shelf somewhere waiting for you to decide to buy a Kahr MK40. Great story, don't ever part with that gun. Pass it down to future generations in your family. It may save your life sometime or that of another family member.

I recently bought my Mk40 (non elite) From gunbroker for 470.00, it included the original box/paper work /and two magazines. There are some on their for 600± that have been there for a while. A local person has a MK40 elite 03 for 550, and it's been for sale for about two months. I guess it depends on the area you live.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Just to clear things up, the gun is just a basic MK9 with std. sights and wood grips in pristine condition.

The gun looks unfired, have you shot it? If so, approximately how many rounds have been shot in the gun? This will help determine the value?

My caliber is 45 so 40's aren't among my favorites, but you are right about the MK40 - I don't plan to part with it. I agree it was destined that we would come together. My CW40 on the other hand has been replaced by a CW45 and is ready for trade for that next "gotta have it" pistol. My only other 40 is a full sized HK USP and with it's 14 round capacity and excellent night sights, it's my home defense gun.

I probably have fired 600-800 rounds. All my pistols receive a thorough cleaning each and every time they're shot,
