I bought a P9 magazine and swapped out the floor plates with my stock magazine. I took off the finger lip with my dremel tool and made the plate flat on the bottom. I took out the spring and follower then I used a course file to remove enough of the floor plate to where when I insert the magazine I have the thickness of an index card all the way around between the grip and magazine floor plate. To make the floor plate look nice I lightly stippled the sides and bottom with a wood burning tool. Videos on how to stipple like this are on YouTube.
It looks great, like it SHOULD HAVE COME FROM THE FACTORY. The metal floor plate from my six round magazine works great on the P9 magazine that I carry for my spare.
