Went to Wally World to get some range fodder for PM45 and they only had Remington UMC 230gr JHP in a bulk box, so I went ahead and grabbed a box. The gun has <150 rounds through it so far, and there have not been any problems at all...other than having to seat the mag like a man. While trying to answer the question of whether I could rack the slide to load each of my Kahrs, I found that I cannot eject a live round of this ammo. It seems to long. I have to drop the mag, pull back the slide, and poke the round back into the grip. It will not come through the ejection area. I am very afraid that it will mess up the extractor, so I won't do it anymore.
Is this common with this round? Are there other rounds that have similar issues? What are some shorter rounds that I can use in both ball and SD? I don't recall specifically if I have ever ejected a live round from the gun, but I must have in the past.
