I want to publicly thank our resident friend and moderator for the outstanding grips he made for my "ol gal". When I opened the box, I was blown away how nice these grips are. When I put them on the ol gal, I fell in love with her again. The attention to detail is outstanding and the checkering is just right. I cannot believe how good these feel in the hand. For some reason, maybe the better grip or the fuller feel, I work the safety much easier now. THANK YOU BAWANNA for the great work, care and thoughtfulness you have given me. Pictures dont do them justice but if I dont put them in Jfootn will remind me to do so.

+1 . . . And Congratulations! That nicely shaped rear corner on yours may be a subtle hint to consider a bobtail for your next 1911.

Mine also seems to shoot better with Bawanna grips installed. Life is good. :)

I likme your style Tucson! I know it sounds weird but they do shoot better. It is the good Bawanna energy going through the grip and into my arm. Whats cool is you aint gonna see many 45s that look like ours. Even ours are just alittle different from each other. I am looking forward to the High rise holster Bawanna rec so I can start wearing this ensemble.

BTW I have some like new Crimson Trace grips for sale. No way are those going back on when I got these grips to replace them.

You guys make me plush, thanks for the kind words.

I've actually been bobbing the corner of a lot of my grips. Even on a non bobbed gun they feel better to me.

Some I just cover the mainspring housing pins, and of course some I just notch like one usually sees.

I do love the feel of a bobtail and it's not that difficult to do especially on a stainless gun where there's no finish touch up needed.

I did the Para I gave my son and while I sweated very much prior to utilizing the hack saw to cut that corner off it wasn't that bad.

I'm pondering doing a couple others but I guess in my mind I think, is this the one I'm gonna screw up and the guys will laugh at me relentlessly?

That Murphy fella don't cha know.

I'm working a couple as we speak, pictures when I get them presentable looking.

Again, thanks for the kind words, you guys and gals are the ones that rock.

Not sure how much magic they have these days. There is a set on our local gun board for $125 that has been there for a while . . .

And, most of the locals don't know about Bawanna . . . go figure.

I got set for sale in the sale area too. Not a single bite. I'd like to see what the Rosewood model looks like. Mine are just the basic all black.

Got a Laser max set on there for my son too, no bites there either.

I actually like them a lot. Work very well, but well I'm a wood guy ya know?

Why, I have a set of Bawanna's on my Commander? In fact I think I'm the one that started the inlays.

You weren't nearly the first inlay but you were the first military type pin inlay. Haven't been many since but a few.
I think yours were also the best of them so far too but I brag on myself too much.

Put the gun down for a little while knkali, I think some of my negative aura might be transferring into your arm. It happens sometimes. A little deep breathing couldn't hurt either.

Meh that works too. I'll have to take new pictures of mine if I can't find them again. Too pretty no to show off.

I like his "psyho"-delic ones with the hidden "porno" and aliens. Beauty... and other stuff... are in the eye of the beholder!
