I love my CW45 and I have had 0 issues since I purchased it. The IWB holster I carry it in doesn't cover the mag release button and the ridges on it dig into my side when sitting. I took the mag release out and hand sanded the ridges down a bit. I put it back together and now about 30% of the time when I rack the slide the round gets about 3/4 of the way out and then something binds it. If I remove the magazine then it hand racks fine. I've disassembled/reassembled it several times and I cant see anythign obvious. I havent shot it since the reassembly. The mag catch and spring are fairly straight forward, what could possibly have happened to cause this and more importantly, how can I fix it?

Well when I got home I ran a couple mags through her and it seemed to feed, fire, and eject just fine so whatever the issue that causes it to give resistance when hand racking/ejecting doesn't seem to affect operation. I'm going to try to get to the range soon and run a hundred or so rounds through it and see what happens.

Why didn't you sand the mag release without taking it out?

Probably because he was concerned about digging into the grip?

That's exactly why, i didnt want to damage the frame. Since the CW45 mag release is all metal it required a little mojo to knock the edges down.
