Here is a condensed version:
Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers.
They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter.
The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups:
1 . Liberals
2. Conservatives..
Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That's how villages were formed.
Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to BBQ at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement...
Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly BBQ's and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement.
Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. They became known as girlie-men. Some note worthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that conservatives provided
Over the years conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass for obvious reasons.
Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare.. Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of their women have higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn't fair to make the pitcher also bat.
Conservatives drink domestic beer, mostly Yuengling, Lone Star, or Shiner Boch. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, engineers, corporate executives, athletes, members of the military, airline pilots and generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living.
Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America .. They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing.
Here ends today's lesson in world history:
It should be noted that a Liberal may have a momentary urge to angrily respond to the above before forwarding it. Usually resulting in accusations and name calling.
A Conservative will simply laugh and be so convinced of the absolute truth of this history that it will be forwarded immediately to other true believers and to more liberals just to piss them off.
And there you have it. Let your next action reveal your true self.....

in a couple of hours we're lighting up the grills to cook the last of the doves from last year's "harvest". The jalapeno slices, "special dry rub", bacon and cream cheese are ready to go.... and the beer is iced down. Heading out for the 330 mile trip to the happy hunting grounds next Thursday morning for a 4 day trip to re-stock the "supply". could be ready to leave in 10 minutes:)

I officially once again proclaim that I HATE COMPUTERS!!!!!!
A couple days ago the sound simply stopped working. I couldn't see anything wrong but noticed the main SB XFinity sound card program wasn't installed, so i installed it - up to the point my computer froze. After a few hours to see if it would re-appear I tried to appropriately shut it down but it was locked tight as a bulls bazoo in fly season so I pushed the button. Now early in the boot process I get the lovely notice that the system file is corrupt. Grrrrr. Since my drives are off a Promise Raid card it won't even see the drives.
I'm normally an easy going guy but am now totally pissed! Of course I have XP 3 with all 1923 service packs installed - a full 3 day process, and I've been down this road many times in the past.
As much as I'd like to there's no way I can just "go out and buy a new computer" so I'm down to having a couple on the rocks and trying to restore which hasn't worked the last 19 times I tried it. If they'd stop forcing me into upgrades I'd do just fine with existing systems, but 640MB ram on a 1Ghxz processor doesn't hack it anymore. Any real world experience with Win 7 Home Pro?
PS: Happy 46th anniversary honey.

we just finished (well, came to a stopping point....it ain't ever finished) installing and networking three new computers - one i3 and two i5's, all with solid state boot drives and bazillion gig backup/data drives....and Win 7. I hate Win 7, but I still hate windurs in general. We've spent close to three weeks getting all our s/w upgraded, but lost a lot of legacy s/w in the process. I'll have to hang on to one of the old XPPro machines to run some stuff. Did I mention I hate windurs seven?

A Biker is sitting in a bar in Sturgis, South Dakota, when Barack Obama comes on TV.
The man looks at the TV and says, "Obama is a horse's ass." Out of nowhere, a local jumps up and punches him in the face, knocking the first guy off his bar stool, then stomps out.
The Biker gets back up, rubbing his cheek and orders another beer.
Shortly after that incident, Michelle Obama appears on the TV. He looks at the TV and says, "She is a horse's ass too!" Out of nowhere, another local punches him in the other side of his face, knocking him off his bar stool once again.
He gets back up and looks at the bartender, "I take it this is Obama country?" "Nope." replies the bartender. "Horse country."

My P30 40 LEM V2, with V1 springs, has a DOA pull of 4.4 lbs.
I'm going to do the same thing to the P2000 357 V2 LEM when she gets here.
It has a very light and long pre-travel to a distinct wall.
And then a SA like crisp, clean, break.
Very nice for a no safety carry gun IMHO.

The economy is so bad that I got a pre-declined credit card in the mail.
It's so bad, I ordered a burger at McDonald's and the kid behind the counter asked, "Can you afford fries with that?"
The economy is so bad that CEO's are now playing miniature golf.
The economy is so bad if the bank returns your check marked "Insufficient Funds," you call them and ask if they meant you or them.
The economy is so bad Hot Wheels and Matchbox stocks are trading higher than GM.
The economy is so bad McDonald's is selling the 1/4 ouncer.
The economy is so bad parents in Beverly Hills fired their nannies and learned their children's names.
The economy is so bad a truckload of Americans was caught sneaking into Mexico .
The economy is so bad **** Cheney took his stockbroker hunting.
The economy is so bad Motel Six won't leave the light on anymore.
The economy is so bad the Mafia is laying off judges.
The economy is so bad Exxon-Mobil laid off 25 Congressmen..
Congress says they are looking into this Bernard Madoff scandal. Oh Great!! The guy who made $50 Billion disappear is being investigated by the people who made $1.5 Trillion disappear!
And, finally...
I was so depressed last night thinking about the economy, wars, jobs, my savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc., I called the Suicide Lifeline. I got a call center in Pakistan , and when I told them I was suicidal, they got all excited, and asked if I could drive a truck.

My son had bought two discover rides in helicopters, so we rode the Harleys over to Payne field in Everett, next to Boeing, and went flying in this little yellow bird.
What a trip ! We went up separately,(since it's a two seater), and we were given the controls for a short time. I actually felt like I was in control,...for a second or two. Neither of us could hover very well. Sure looks easy from the ground, LOL.

Dang, but that's a tiny helicopter! It must have been fun. I've never gotten to ride in one that small. I see those tiny Robinsons flying by once in a while here... usually between us and the river just to the north. I think those used to be kits and you had to build at least a major part yourself.
On 4WD or AWD... I have my 4th AWD vehicle and the largest, a 2005 GMC Savana Passenger Van. I've had two Ford Aerostars with AWD 1990 since they came out until early 2005 when I sold the last after getting the GMC. I bought a US version of the Audi 4000 Quattro and brought it back with me in 1986 when I returned from Germany. It didn't have ABS or limited slip differential and you could lock up the differentials for really bad conditions, but it was a strain on the tires and transmission on dry pavement. A technician left the thing locked up like that after service and I knew right away as I backed out of the parking place.
AWD is great in rain, snow, and on the beaches here in Florida. I like having all wheels pulling and pushing me through curves in the wet or snow. I have played around whenever possible in parking lots or empty roads in snow and slippery stuff for practice AND FUN! I've played around in loose sand about 2 ft or so deep at the beach and was definitely afraid to stop... had to really plan to stay clear of people walking into my path.
I can remember the SEGrin on my face as I pulled into the passing lane on a hill to get around another Aerostar that was a slipping and a sliding going up a hill in the slush in Maine. My van was steady as it could be.

When I worked for USAir the airline came up with a fully automated plane. I was aboard her for the maiden flight. Just before take off a recorded voice informed us that the plane was totally automated and had no pilot. The recorded voice went on to say that we would be flying at ten thousand feet at a speed of 2000 mph. and that we would arrive at our destination in less than an hour. It assured us that an automated plane was totally safe. We were instructed to sit back an relax and enjoy the flight, because nothing could possibly go wrong, go wrong, go wrong, go wrong. :)

This has probably been around a while, but I got a chuckle out of it!
got it off another forum
.................................................. .................................................. .....
Yup, some people can’t handle the truth!
My Favorite Animal
Our teacher asked what my favorite animal was, and I said, "Fried chicken."
She said I wasn't funny, but she couldn't have been right, because everyone else laughed.
My parents told me to always tell the truth. I did. Fried chicken is my favorite animal.
I told my dad what happened, and he said my teacher was probably a member of PETA.
He said they love animals very much.
I do, too. Especially chicken, pork and beef. Anyway, my teacher sent me to the principal's office.
I told him what happened, and he laughed, too. Then he told me not to do it again.
The next day in class my teacher asked me what my favorite live animal was.
I told her it was chicken. She asked me why, so I told her it was because you could make them into fried chicken.
She sent me back to the principal's office. He laughed, and told me not to do it again.
I don't understand. My parents taught me to be honest, but my teacher doesn't like it when I am.
Today, my teacher asked me to tell her what famous person I admired most. I told her, "Colonel Sanders."
Guess where I am now...

I lived in Tampa until I was about 7 and then we moved to MS and lived near the tiny town of D'Lo. There were two grades to a classroom. I started in the 3rd grade there and I remember being taken up to the seniors' classroom and reading for them! The FL schools were a bit better and I loved to read.
I remember a lot of fishing along the Skyway(?) in my teens when I would visit my dad for the summer.
I remember Ibor City and and Cuban sandwiches and the things we called deviled crabs... kind of a hotdog-shaped cornbread-coated and deep-fried moist inside crabcake thingy with crab and peppers and who knows what, but good!
That was around 1950 or so and up until 1964 when I visited my Dad. I joined the Air Force after graduation then.
I don't remember the weather much there... just a lot of time at the beaches and fishing.

One year we had four hurricanes.
I was actually in the eye as one passed right over.
That's an experience I'll never forget.

Boy, ain't it the truth! My son can't believe some of the things I tell him about "the good 'ol days"
Being Green...
Checking out at the store, the young cashier suggested to the older woman, that she should bring her own grocery bags because plastic bags weren't good for the environment.
The woman apologized and explained, "We didn't have this green thing back in my earlier days."
The young clerk responded, "That's our problem today. Your generation did not care enough to save our environment f
or future generations."
She was right -- our generation didn't have the green thing in its day.
Back then, we returned milk bottles, soda bottles and beer bottles to the store. The store sent them back to the plant to be washed and sterilized and refilled, so it could use the same bottles over and over. So they really were truly recycled.
But we didn't have the green thing back in our day.
Grocery stores bagged our groceries in brown paper bags, that we reused for numerous things, most memorable besides household garbage bags, was the use of brown paper bags as book covers for our schoolbooks. This was to ensure that public property, (the books provided for our use by the school) was not defaced by our scribblings. Then we were able to personalize our books on the brown paper bags.
But too bad we didn't do the green thing back then.
We walked up stairs, because we didn't have an escalator in every store and office building. We walked to the grocery store and didn't climb into a 300-horsepower machine every time we had to go two blocks.
But she was right. We didn't have the green thing in our day.
Back then, we washed the baby's diapers because we didn't have the throwaway kind. We dried clothes on a line, not in an energy-gobbling machine burning up 220 volts -- wind and solar power really did dry our clothes back in our early days. Kids got hand-me-down clothes from their brothers or sisters, not always brand-new clothing.
But that young lady is right; we didn't have the green thing back in our day.
Back then, we had one TV, or radio, in the house -- not a TV in every room. And the TV had a small screen the size of a handkerchief (remember them?), not a screen the size of the state of Montana. In the kitchen, we blended and stirred by hand because we didn't have electric machines to do everything for us. When we packaged a fragile item to send in the mail, we used wadded up old newspapers to cushion it, not Styrofoam or plastic bubble wrap. Back then, we didn't fire up an engine and burn gasoline just to cut the lawn. We used a push mower that ran on human power. We exercised by working so we didn't need to go to a health club to run on treadmills that operate on electricity.
But she's right; we didn't have the green thing back then.
We drank from a fountain when we were thirsty instead of using a cup or a plastic bottle every time we had a drink of water. We refilled writing pens with ink instead of buying a new pen, and we replaced the razor blades in a razor instead of throwing away the whole razor just because the blade got dull.
But we didn't have the green thing back then.
Back then, people took the streetcar or a bus and kids rode their bikes to school or walked instead of turning their moms into a 24-hour taxi service. We had one electrical outlet in a room, not an entire bank of sockets to power a dozen appliances. And we didn't need a computerized gadget to receive a signal beamed from satellites 23,000 miles out in space in order to find the nearest burger joint.
But isn't it sad the current generation laments how wasteful we old folks were just because we didn't have the green thing back then?

On a good note, I am blessed with great in laws. My MIL fell very ill this January and we nearly lost her. She has been slow in recovering, but this weekend they felt like joining us on a getaway for a few days. It is so great to see her healthy again. As Brother John Bishop says, "God is always good."
Great news about your MIL DeaconKC!
Brother John Bishop has been a blessing to my family and me during some pretty rough health situations. What a sense of humor he has as well. :)

We've got wildfires around here that have made the air bad around here for over a week. The air quality is off the charts bad and looks like you need a machete to walk through it.
No, I don't need any cheese with that whine!

We're actually getting a lot of that smoke over the mountains in to our side. It was very noticeable over the weekend. Kind of like California on a clear day around here.
They said on the news (if anyone believes them) that we have over 200 active wildfires in Washington. Big challenge.
Have friends in Ellensburg that narrowly missed losing their place, wind change at the last moment saved them a lot of grief.
I don't care for cheese or whine but a fine glass of scotch would be right nice about now.

I'm just feeling a bit cooped up. Trying to stay inside where the air is a little better.
Here's a bit of what the local paper (http://www.wenatcheeworld.com/news/2012/sep/19/how-bad-is-it-experts-say-take-smoke-levels/) had to say:
Health officials say even short-term exposure to the hazardous air in Wenatchee that’s persisted since last week is dangerous for everyone, not just those with health problems.
Is it worse than living in Los Angeles for a year? Yes.
Worse than breathing the ash-filled skies after Mount St. Helens blew? Yes.
“We asked all those questions: How does this compare to smoking for a lifetime, or living in Beijing or Mexico City or L.A.? This is much worse,” said Mary Small, spokeswoman for the Chelan-Douglas Health District.
Air quality monitoring stations in the Wenatchee area are recording small particulate levels that haven’t been recorded anywhere in Washington for at least 30 years, when the state started monitoring air quality, said state Department of Ecology spokeswoman Joye Redfield-Wilder. “This is unprecedented for as far back as we have monitoring data,” she said. It’s also the first time levels have pushed into hazard levels, and is about three times higher than any recordings made since Ecology started monitoring air quality in the 1980s, she said."
I still see people out running in this, water skiing, kayaking, etc. I almost want to turn the wipers on when I'm driving. Kinda nuts.
A scotch does sound like a good idea about now.

Hey pal, pack up and come on over with your gang, bring the dog too, it needs to breath too. You can hang out with us coasters until the air gets more breathable.
We can't burn nothing over here now either. Total burn ban, been a long time without rain.
We'll leave the light on for ya. I'm totally serious, we'll make room.
We can be like the Waltons, good night alphonse, good night JimBar, crap we can have Jimbar come down too and have a NW Kahrtalk reunion.

I would like to say hello sometime. This fall I'm supposed to go to the LeMay Museum with some friends. That would be a weekend event where I could come back through your berg.

There was once a snail who was sick and tired of his reputation for being so slow. He decided to get some fast wheels to make up the difference. After shopping around a while, he decided that the Datson 240-Z was the car to get. So the snail goes to the nearest Datsun dealer and says he wants to buy the 240-Z, but he wants it repainted "240-S".
The dealer asks, "Why 'S'?"
The snail replies, "'S' stands for snail. I want everybody who sees me roaring past to know who's driving."
Well, the dealer doesn't want to lose the unique opportunity to sell a car to a snail, so he agrees to have the car repainted for a small fee.
The snail gets his new car and spent the rest of his days roaring happily down the highway at top speed. And whenever anyone would see him zooming by, they'd say "Wow! Look at that S-car go!"

A few years later, they were having some kind of identity crisis and decided to change the company name. Why? They got an idea team together and they worked for days. Then, the CEO came and said, "Show me what you've got." They started presenting ther ideas to him. He would consider each thoughtfully, then say "That's a nice-un" and go on to the next. After several of them, he said that again and then he acted like a light came on. He said, "Wait a minute. Nice-un...nice-un...Nissan! I think I have it!" :D

Doctors vs. Guns
Doctors:
The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000
Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000
Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171
Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept of Health Human Services.
Guns:
The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000
The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500
The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is .000188.
Statistics courtesy of F.B.I.
Statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.
Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do."
FACT: Not everyone has a gun, but almost everyone has at least one doctor.
Please alert your friends to this alarming threat immediately. We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!

Chiappa M4 22LR Pistol with 2 28-round magazines and a Red Dot sight (http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/21_962/products_id/80362/Handguns/Chiappa/Chiappa+M4+Pistol+22LR+6%22+2-28Rd+Mags%2C+Red+Dot). Price $398.
http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/images/80362.jpg
This is not a whole lot more than a Ruger or Browning 22 pistol. But look at what you get! Two 28 round mags, and a red dot sight. No tree rat within 100 yards would have a chance! :33:
Funny thing is that I can't find it on the Chiappa website. All they show is a 22lr M4 upper. But look at the selection of these Chiappa M4 22s that Bud's has:
http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=Chiappa+M4+&x=0&y=0
I guess Chiappa's website isn't correct.
I think I'd rather have one of the carebines, but only this one says it has the red dot. I wonder if Bud's is correct about that being included? I don't see it in the picture or reflected in the price compared to the other models. If I bought it and it didn't come with a red dot, wouldn't Bud's owe me one?

Just stumbled upon this on the Bloomberg news site. According to the article, "Rather than firing a bullet to the head, how about sticking a pin into a balloon? That's the idea behind this game device, which resembles a revolver and contains a spring-loaded pin for puncturing a balloon that's attached to the muzzle. A player can place the balloon against his head "to make the game more exciting," according to the patent filing. A similar device was previously marketed, but the inventor claims his version has a safer pin mechanism."

The inventor is Steve Zuloff of Los Angeles County, California. I wonder if Paul at PJ could make a kydex IWB hoster for it?

The first passenger, Sarah Palin said, "I have my own reality show and I am the smartest woman in American history, so America ’s people don’t want me to die.” She took the first pack and jumped out of the plane.
The second passenger, John McCain, said, “I’m a Senator, and a decorated war hero from an elite Navy unit from the United States of America ”. So he grabbed the second pack and jumped..
The third passenger, Barack Obmama said, "I am the President of the United States and I am the smartest ever in the history of our country, some even call me the Anointed One." So he grabbed the pack next to him and jumped out.
The fourth passenger, Billy Graham said to the fifth passenger, a 10-year-ol d schoolgirl, “I have lived a full life, and served my God the best I could. I will sacrifice my life and let you have the last parachute.”

I get irritated when people come down on our police officers, saying that they don't care about or respect others. Well, here is a story that clearly shows not all cops are in that category.
This story involves the police department in the small hill country town of Fredericksburg, TX who reported finding a man's body last Saturday in the early evening in the Pedernales River near the state highway-87 bridge. The dead man's name would not be released until his family had been notified.
The victim apparently drowned due to excessive beer consumption while visiting "someone" in Kerrville . He was wearing black fishnet stockings, 4 inch spiked heels, a red garter belt, a pink G-string, purple lipstick, dazzel dust on his eyelds, 2 1/2 inch false eyelashes and an Obama T-shirt.
The police removed the Obama T-shirt to spare his family any unnecessary embarrassment.
See there, Texas police do care.

We had a touch of frost this morning! Unusually early. Supposed to be 66 today, 50ish tonight, then warming through the week. Beautiful sunny weather! :)
My brother and I are planning to visit a restaurant that has been an institution since 1985 in a distant mountain town: Granny's Chicken Palace! They are going to shut the doors after November 3. I spoke with the elderly lady who is the last family member still running the restaurant. She sounded so sweet! :)
I have always said that if someone opened a restaurant that featured pan fried chicken like Mom used to make (not deep fried), they could charge like steak for it! Mom used an iron skillet with 1/4" or less of oil in it, breaded the chicken southern style with a little oregano for perfect flavor. Some crumbs would fall off the chicken while cooking. She would use a holey spoon to get most of them and spread them out on a paper towel with folded newspaper underneath in order to drain the oil. I LOVED those crumbs! :D She would leave some of the crumbs in the skillet, drain all but 1 or 2 tablespoons of oil, and make some chicken gravy. We always had rice with the gravy. The idea of using mashed potatoes was foreign to us. She would prepare 1 or 2 veggie sides and dinner would be on. Scrumptious! :hungry:
I have tried in vain to teach myself to cook chicken like that, but I am not at all successful. :( I am hoping that restaurant is going to be similar to Mom's. If it is, I am going to try to visit a few more times before it closes.

Old hands...assuming they're hers.
Hmmm,.....I never even noticed her hands,.......imagine that....;)

Thanks! That gun must be Sweet! No wonder you got two of them! :D:D
Best way I can explain it;
the first pull is like a very light long pre-travel,
then a distinct wall,
followed by a very crisp clean SA like break.
Then you ride the reset, which seems short, for the second SA like pull.
I have professionally tuned triggers on all of my guns and this is one of the best.
Plus the handling and recoil of the P2K is outstanding.
It's like the perfect weight, size, balance and natural pointing handgun I've got.
The gun is effortless to shoot and the bullets seem guided to the target.
Just had to have two.
And I've never bought identical guns before.
Hmmm,.....I never even noticed her hands,.......imagine that....;)
Attention to detail...look past the shiny stuff to understand what you're getting. :40: Took me a long time to get a handle on that.

In response to e-mails about my dog ....
Please be advised, I am tired of answering questions about my dog, who mauled six people wearing Obama tee shirts, four wearing Pelosi tee shirts, two Democrats, nine teenagers with pants hanging past their cracks, three flag burners, and a Pakistani taxi driver.
FOR THE LAST TIME...THE DOG IS NOT FOR SALE !!!!
I'M TRYING TO TALK HIM INTO QUITTING SMOKING, BUT HE SAYS IT HELPS GET THE BAD TASTE OUT OF HIS MOUTH!!!
Good boy!

I'm not familiar at all with Zoli but I'm gonna look it up some. Some pretty darn nice shotguns come from Italy.

Well, it looks like I'm going to have 7 Kahrs soon. Didn't someone have that handle... at least until I bought his P40?
I got a money order in the mail to Lucky13 today for his Novak Night-sighted DLC P9. When he threw in shipping with the price, that hit my price and I ordered it for my wife's "get-home gun". I'll wait and see if it looks like she might want it Mag-na-ported, but that's a possibility.
Anyhow, we had a nice day at the beaches Monday and I managed to find a few fossilized sharks' teeth... one each at Huguenot Beach and Fernandina Beach.
Both of us got sore shoulders throwing dinner roll bits at the the seagulls. Those ingrates got tired of the dinner rolls real fast. Wifey should have gotten the bread... for a bit more... never had them stop responding to that!
After a whole bottle of inexpensive Bordeaux Supérieur with supper and some Camembert Cheese, I'm about ready for a nap!
I'm hoping to win the 200 million bucks on the PowerBall tonight!
Night all!
Wynn:)

I was in a County Supervisor's Board meeting Monday and a contractor made an excellent presentation offering his services right up to the last to words.... "Trust Me".
I cracked up and as he past me we made eye contacts and I shrugged my shoulders and asked "Trust Me?" He laughed and shook his head telling me that wasn't in his script. He's really a good guy but probably wonders himself where that came from.
Another one I hate to hear is "honestly" interjected in a statement. Like "trust me" it removes a lot of confidence in what they are saying.

The Camaro SS Police Car Will Make You Beg To Be Arrested
The Haltom City, Texas police department's built the first patrol car out of a new Camaro SS.
They could've just added a light bar.
Instead, they worked with a local Texas custom shop to build one epically cool patrol car.
We've seen a fanboy rendering of a new Police Camaro and we know there are a few unmarked 2010 Camaro police cars running around Florida,
but this is the first fully marked Camaro SS we've seen since the fourth generation.
Haltom City Police commissioned Classic Chevrolet of Grapevine,
Texas to build this one-of-a-kind Camaro SS police car
complete with an LED bar on top, embedded bar in the rear window and our favorite piece:
a blue light strip embedded behind the muscle car's devious grin.
