My PM9 runs perfect with just one minor sometimes problem. The magazine release button is very easy to accidentally push in while firing. Is there a fix for this or do I need to change my finger position on my grip? It is my EDC. Thanks all.

is what to check first. with the mag out of the gun look at the right side of the grip and see how flush that mag release button is. IT SHOULDBE THE SAME WAY WITH A MAG IN THEGUN. If it sticks out a tad, then IMO ur mag release needs replaced. Normally the mag spring doesnt loose strength, it is a steel rod, not a coil. My bet is also ur grip is hitting the mag release. Try it left handed to see if the magazine pops out when shooting, If not, consider ur grip as the possable culprit.. Little gun, can't change that but your grip can.. Just sayom

I have not expereinced the problem you describe. My only issue is that empty magazines do not drop free when pressing the mag release.

It does not appear to be wear. The mag release button is just easier to push in than my other pistols. That in combination with the small size of the pistol just means I need to change my grip. Either thumbs up or one handed like I was taught 40 yrs ago. Either way no problem, I can deal with it.

I bought it about six months ago however I know the LGS had it awhile in the display case. No real idea when it was made.
