Well the Texas heat is making a last gasp here in North Texas. I carry my cw45 iwb in a Highnoon Mr. softy, it does not have a sweat shield. I noticed last couple days(after dove hunts) that the gun was covered in sweat. I wiped it down and put it away for the nite. well today went to break it down and noticed i have rust starting on the slide stop. I guess since its mim it is prone to rust. What options are available for a stainless stell version for this pistol. I will just keep cleaning it and oil it down good each day. Any other suggestions? possibly duracoat the stop?
Thanks,
Doc

The CW/CM slide stops are made of stainless steel and, as Jim suggests using a good lubricant/protectant will help ensure that your "stain less" parts do not develop rust/stains. FWIW, the slide stop for the P45 (also stainless steel) will work in the CW45.

If you ask Frank Harris of Kahr Arms, he'll recommend TUF-CLOTH.
