Combined Skills Course

Private Range, Chandler, OK
This course features Tom Givens of Rangemaster, plus Steve Moses and Dr. Troy Miller of Bluff Dale Academy in Texas. This is a unique course offering intended to help you prepare for violent confrontations with armed criminals.
Tom Givens will present a classroom segment centered on tactical lessons learned from dozens of Rangemaster student involved shootings and other sources. This presentation sets the tone for the weekend of range training.
Later in the weekend, Tom will lead a live-fire session on Advanced Pistol Techniques, learning to rapidly but accurately engage targets at both close and mid-range. The focus will be on getting fast, precise hits under adverse conditions.
Steve Moses will conduct a session focusing on speed from real street concealment clothing, rather than a specially rigged IDPA vest. Steve’s segment prepares the student for the challenges in Givens’ later session.
Steve will also conduct a session on home defense tactics. Students will move through a real building, learning to negotiate doors and hallways safely. He will also cover vehicle defense tactics, involved in car-jacking and armed robbery scenarios. Steve is an extremely highly trained shooter and trainer, and a member of a law enforcement entry team.
Dr. Troy Miller, a very experienced trauma care physician, will lead a block of classroom instruction on emergency care for gunshot trauma. This information could be a life saver if you or an associate were shot, either on a range or in a confrontation. He will demonstrate a variety of items that are useful for immediate trauma care, and go over how to set up a personal blow-out kit.
Class will run from 6:00pm until 10:00pm Friday evening, then 8:00am until 6:00pm both Saturday and Sunday. Students will need their normal street carry gear and 800-1,000 rounds of ammunition. The class will be conducted at a very nice private range in Chandler, OK. Directions and a detailed equipment list will be sent to registered students prior to class. Tuition is $450.00. Range fee of $20
