2 weeks ago I went Steel shooting but only did it to get the range time but was very happy with my results. Today I went to a local IDPA match and had a blast. The first stage was a replica of a stage that will be at the Indiana State match. It was very tuff with three movers. Was not ready for a stage like that but did just as weel as anyone except a couple of guys that are Experts. Very Fun Stages today. I did have 2 times that I dropped a mag after a reload with one in the chamber. I think it was my fault because I do not think I rammed it home. I tried real hard to be accurate instead of blazing through. One stage I was 0 down and another stage 2 down. Here is a couple of Vids. Jim

Thanks slowplay! There is always room for improvement. I improved from the last match. Them Blocks have nothing on the little Kahrs. Jim

Excellent! I'll say, I have a CW9 on me as I write this and have shot an IDPA with my CW9. As great a pistol as the CW9 is I can shoot accurately but slower than if I use a Hi-Power or Glock.

Good shooting and thank you for the post and videos.

Looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for the vids. You make it look easy by moving and shooting calm! I've seen other videos where people try too hard and look nervous. This is something I would like to try someday.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I believe the IDPA game should be played with the gun you carry. I had know problems getting fast double taps and not sure if I was faster with follow up shots with the Glock or not. Everyone comments how loud the the little Kahr is though. I made a grip sleeve with a inner tube that has the grandkids hair ties in a couple of places for finger grooves and it really helped a lot with gripping the gun. Jim

Here is the holster and mag holster that I use for IDPA for my CW9. Also the grip sleeve that I made. Jim

They let you use a holster that cants back? Doesn't that violate the 180 rule? I am looking for an IDPA kit for my PM9. No pretty leather needed.

I have now read the IDPA rules. No 180 rule. Hmmm. Cant like that is fine. Super. What is it?
