P380 recoil springs... Keltec P3AT??

So someone mentioned getting Wolff brand recoil springs for a Keltec P3AT and using them in my P380.
So as a test I pulled the recoil spring out of my Keltec and compared it to my P380. Totally different. The P3AT spring is too small ID to even go over the P380 guide rod. The spring will almost go thru the guide rod hole in the slide.

So how could you use the P3AT springs in a P380?

Anyone actually try this or was this just an "idea"?

thanks, it was an idea that I had passed along from a post from somene who said they did it. evidewntely, it willnot work and thanks for getting that straightened out. I plead guilty tomaking that post just recently.
