I just purchased a new PM45 and was experiencing an issue wyntrout pointed out in another post. My magazine would not seat without excessive force. I noticed that the rounds were hitting the piece of the slide that sticks down to push the round into battery. I looked at all my other glock/xdm type guns and noticed a bevel, or they are rounded and some are even polished. So I went to work with my handy dremel. I took a very small amount off and rounded and polished it and it works better. Not perfect but a lot better. I guess I have a little more work to do.
I love the way the PM45 feels , the trigger pull, compact size and just about everything else about the PM45. I have been reading about all the problems people experience with Kahr's both on this forum and the internet in general. it seems to me that they must have the worst quality control on the planet. Especially for such an expensive firearm. It always seems like little things such as uncompleted machining processes.
