So I needed a Gun safe/Storage locker. My wife would not allow me to have a Gun cabinet/ safe in the house. So I thought what could I do to solve this problem. After some research I decided I would try my hand at converting a soda/pop vending machine into a gun safe. My first attempt turned out great and I used it regularly. Finally I sold a few long guns and decided I really didn't need the 7up safe and I decided to trade or sell it, It was posted on Armslist for 3 hours and someone was in my drive way with a trailer and a Kimber Custom 2.
Since I turned the first (7up machine) so fast and with such great results, I decided to try my luck at it again. This time a Pepsi machine was offered up. I've had it for 2 weeks now and its ready to go on the market. Lots of work was put into this one, and to be honest it was easier since it was my 2nd machine.
Here are some pictures of the original 7Up machine and all of the before and after pictures of both machines. Just figured I would share with everyone, Maybe someone has a great idea of something to use besides a soda machine.

Awesome idea! Looks great inside too! Really gets the mind working on what other discreet ideas you could use for a safe.

The 7up machine was traded for a Kimber custom 2, but to answer your question, I wouldn't take any less than 600

Worth every penny of that and a lot more. Lot of work fitting all that gyp board and wiring and cleaining, carpet and lighting.
You went first cabin on that project. Wish you was closer I'd be dealing.
Where the heck does a guy even find an old Pepsi Machine. Never thought about it before. You better patent this idea right quick. Be cool if everyone could have one and nobody knew about you modification.

Thank you, and I aquire these machines on Craigslist. I just write up an ad "looking for broken /non working pop machines" and every once in a while I get a call, if the machine is in good cosmetic condition and the price is right, I buy them.

I'm weird. I took the Pepsi challenge and it was Pepsi for me.
Kind of cut back on both of late, treating my body like a shrine you know. Seeking longevity. Well maybe shrine is not quite right, maybe septic tank would be a better descriptor.
Doc once told me the key was to stay so healthy that germs and viruses didn't have a chance. I told him my plan was to create such a harsh environment the germs and viruses would go someplace else.

I'll pick you up, your right on the way to the opposite corner of the continent.
He does have me curious though. I almost gotta know ya know?
I'm still bowled over by that Pepsi machine. What are the odds of finding one with a good lock and most importantly a KEY.
Certainly stirred up the thought process's in my head but unfortunately there isn't a lot to work with in there. Probably why there are absolutely no patents in bawanna's name.
But gee Wally thunk it up.
