Here is a recent thread talking about black mags.

Here is a link to Robar plating...

And a link to Birdsong Black-T...

I have never used either company, but I have heard of them. Maybe others can chime in with experience?

Lorenzo: From direct experience, I can say that Robar is outstanding. I sent them a Glock 21 and a BarSto barrel and asked that they do the best possible grip reduction on the 21 and fit the barrel. I also asked that they leave the trigger alone, since I had done the trigger job I wanted. They did everything perfectly. The grip is as small as could be; the barrel locks up perfectly and the trigger was untouched. The BarSto barrel fits well enough that I have had several opportunities to teach humility to 1911 owners over the subject of 50 yard .45 accuracy. I recommend Robar without reservation.

Great to hear! It looks like they do some nice custom work!

Maybe just try the permanent marker then. At least if it got scratched, it would be easy to touch up.

I never had much luck with those markers on the stainless mags. I made them look worse. IO either leave um alone and live with it or send um off and get it done right. I choose the second..

All that fuss over a shiny floor plate. How often do you look at the fokker when yer shootin' it. Just sayin'. (Sorry, I've been reading too many of Jocko's posts lately.)

Maybe they are twins separated at birth and don't know it. ;)
