I bought a new CM9 last night. I took it home and performed the clean and lube procedures found in the sticky's section of this sight. Thanks to those who created and added to those procedures. I used Gun Scrubber to flush and degrease, and Breakfree CLP to lube.
Today I went to the range with fingers crossed, not quite knowing what to expect. It shot 100 absolutely flawless rounds using S&B 115 FMJ. Gun was fine, magazine was fine. Very accurate and a pleasure to shoot. I do find the trigger to be a bit vague compared to Glocks, but no big deal.
I am thrilled.

vague. that is a new one for this fourm. welcome aboard. Try not to compare it to a glock, as thatis like trying to compare a glock to a 1911. the guns are different. trigger system in kahrs arenot the same as glocks, BY DESIGN. U will adjust to the kahr smooth trigger buyt IMO don't expect beer can accuracy at 25 yards unless u are one hell of a double action shooter. U can pocket carry that cm9 safely, just don't know to many glocks that fit in ones pocket, let alone safely.. Nice thaing also is that your cm9 will even get smoother with some more rounds down range, U will find it alot easier to hand rack it and u will adapt to the looooong trigger very nicely.

Jocko's typing is vague. Never heard anyone call a Kahr trigger vague. Smooth is probably a better description. You're likely used to feeling grit from the Glock. The Kahr trigger is what triggers are supposed to feel like.
Welcome to the forum. Enjoy shooting your new toy.

Welcome to KahrTalk.
My guess is you'd not distinguish a dimes worth of difference between the two triggers should you have to use either gun in a SD/HD situation.

about glocks but I can tell you when I boughgt my new M&P 9, it had absolutely the worst feeling trigger on any gun I have ever owned. after Dave bowie got done with it, that trigger was so smooth, it was then scary. My G19 trigger after accurate iron got down with it, is the most accurate semi I have ever shot. The trigger at first definitely had a break in the pull, but after accurate iron got done with it, it was 100% totally smooth through out the pull.
