Howdy yal,
I’m looking for a Belt Holster for my CW9, not necessarily for concealed carry, but may double as. I have a Crossbreed Super Tuck for concealed carry. I’ve searched the forums but did not find the answer I was looking for. I’m looking at a Don Hume Open Top Belt Holster (H721 OT), are the Don Hume holsters any good? I would like to hear your opinions and get your feedback, your responds is greatly appreciated.

Don Hume holsters are excellent values for the money. If it's not a OWB only holster, they mount to the belt using only a clip over the gun, which will tend to let the gun lean out. Many people compensate for this by cinching the belt tighter, others do nothing.

There's nothing wrong with them. I would suggest checking out Peter's Custom Holsters (INTRO_FINAL (http://www.peterscustomholsters.com/)) who does lots of great one-off, or customization of existing product lines for his clientele. Comp-Tac makes awesome gear too Comp-Tac : Top-Quality Firearm Accessories (http://www.comp-tac.com/)

The 721 OT is what I use4 to carry my K40. It's a great holster, I just thread it onto my belt and go. I also have a double mag pouch, but am not as fond of it. It's well made but the mags are a little loose and I can't adjust it any tighter.

I picked up a Don Hume JIT holster at a local gun show for my PM9 and I'm really pleased with this holster. The fit is tight and close and actually conceals my PM9 very well. $24.00 well spent in my opinion.

Reviews: J.I.T. SLIDE [J.I.T. Slide] - $26.75 : Don Hume Leathergoods, manufactures high quality leather and nylon goods. (http://www.donhume.com/index.php?main_page=product_reviews_info&products_id=53&reviews_id=6)

I don't have any experience with Don Hume holsters...but I have ordered a Crossbreed Super Tuck for my new CW9. How do you like yours?

Also, I agree that you should check out Comp-Tac. I have one of their paddle holsters for my CZ 75B and love it...that's why I also have one on order for my OWB holster for the CW9.

I had one, 721 OT for my PF9 and have one for my CW9. Very good fit and finish and the CW9 almost disappears with a long style shirt. I highly recommend them.

Thanks everyone you told me what I needed to hear, I knew if I asked the people on Kahrtalk I would get good advice.
OkieGunGuy, I just got my Crossbreed in today and have been wearing it around the house trying it out, this is my first holster; I'm not sure what to think about it. It came with the retention a bit loose for my taste, but Crossbreed states in a letter that came in the pagaging they shot for middle ground as far as retention go's, so that’s not a big dill. So far I like it, hardly notice it's there. If I lose this spare tire and love handles probably fit even better. LOL

+1 on the Don Hume. I have the 721OT for owb for my PM9 and also the pocket carry holster. Very good for the money - well built, well designed, and good service.
