great review...mine had a problem at round 49 and is back at kahr...hope they get it right...I understand it is a massed produced gun, and that's the way it goes..but I'm only going to give them one shot at it...then move on....i do want to like it

Very interesting, all P380 owners need to read this review. It will tell you which ammo to use and which ammo to avoid. Great review. Now back to fondling my MK9. :music:

I love my P380. It's never out of arms reach and usually resides in my right front pocket snug in it's PJ holster. It usually serves as a back-up to my CM9, but it's capable of handling all of the chores when necessary. My P380 has been flawless since day one and shoots best with Remington Golden Saber ammo. For range practice try the PMC Bronze 90 gr. FMJ ammo. Good luck with your P380 when you get it back.

I absolutely love mine. I was out shooting with a friend and I was shooting it one handed at 20 yards hitting the steel plate every time. My friend said "You shoot that little bastard pretty good." I said well its easy to shoot . BTW, I refer to it as "The lil bastard" now. :)

muggsy-I hope it works perfectly when I get it back...I really like the gun..49 rounds shoot great...tomorrow is week i've been w/o it...Kahr is doing what it needs to do...I hope they let me know when it is beeing sent back so I can be home for it...and go to the range to test it...after I give it a full cleaning and oiling.....never know what they put in it at the mother ship..I assume its returned as if it was a new gun?....anyway never hurts to re-clean it?.....once I'm sure it works, 500 rounds, I'll work on SD ammo....the saber or hornady from teh article sound like good choices to try and see what...the "lil bastard" likes...thanks mluikey..I like that name too

the 49 good rounds, before the slide, or something else, acted up were federal red box FMJ...should I assume that those are still good to use...or once Kahr sends it back, it's like a new gun out of the box and need to try everything?

I read the article this morning and was impressed. Got me to thinking maybe I should look at the Kahr. I have had a LCP since they first came out and have NEVER had a problem. Did send it back for recall but it has never let me down! Had a CM9 and hated it but like all the other Kahrs I own. Maybe santa will see that I need a new 380--at least I can dream!

Good one, My P380 Kahr has been reliable from day one and is in my pocket as I type this. My gun loves the Hornady 90grn Critical Defense rounds. I like the nickle plated cases as they are easy to see when chamber checking with a slight slide pull.
With the CD rounds the gun just goes bang-load, bang-load with boring regularity. Why try anything else? I always recomend the P380 to folks, the price is the only issue.
