View Full Version : P9 Covert
What does the "covert" refer to? How is it different from a standard P9?

I'll leave the technical details to the Oracle, Mr. Jocko but the covert (no longer made)was what is now basically the PM series. A covert is a cutdown P9. Shorter grip. Think K9 versus MK9 in steel.
Do I got this correct guys? I think I finally managed to say something relevant and reasonably intelighent. Worth a gold star I'm thinking.
Thank you. I recently bought a P9 covert "new" from a Jacksonville Gun Show. According to Kahr it was built in 2002. Uninformed buyer syndrome. I tend to buy when I think I'm getting a deal. Anyway I appreciate the responce.

I never owned one but everything I have heard is they are great little guns. Old isn't always bad, if you got it brand spanking new you have a little gem. I detect buyer remorse but I could be mistaken. Do you think you paid too much or not what you thought? In your spot I'd be happy.

Busted on a mere technicality! Since you already got one I think I should get a shot at it? I would have asked but I'm basically shy and introverted, not very outgoing like some of the guys around here.

Having FTE issues after 400 rounds. The factory (Ian Burr) has been very helpful. They are sending a new recoil spring to see if that takes care of it.
Paid $599 with night sites
