Finally got to the range this afternoon for the initial range session with the CM9 I picked up Friday. Had the range all to myself, as I'm the only dummy shooting outdoors between 4-5:30 in 94 degree temps. I have to say I'm extremely happy after 250 rounds, using 3 different 6 round magazines, that my CM9 did NOT have a single hiccup. All rounds were fired free hand from the 10 yard line, all ejected & the slide stayed open on every single last round. I'm a happy camper today. Target on the left is the 1st 100 FMJ's & target on the right is the 2nd 100 FMJ's, American Eagle 124 grain. The white target is a 50 round box of Speer Gold Dots 124 grain +P, and while my accuracy wasn't great for a first time out, it wasn't bad either. I started to hone in on the center of the 2nd target towards the end. Thx for all the support from the forum members, I'm so glad I finally purchased the CM9. :D

With a little practice you should be able to keep all of them in the 10 ring at 21 feet. The CM9 is a great little CC gun.

Our range only allows 10, 25 & 50 yards, but hope to get it dialed in. I agree, a great 'lil 9mm. Actually have the confidence to CC it tomorrow. :D

Got home from the range & cleaned this 'lil beauty. I was amazed how dirty it got, but still worked flawlessly to the 250th round. Love this CM9! :D

That is a lot of rounds in one session. How did your hands feel afterwards? Congrats on the new gun!

250 rounds, one time, very impressive. I normally get bored, u know shootin them in the same damn hole time and time again. I mean what fun is that??? Just sayin. IfI shoot 250 rounds one one target Icould positively assure u that u could count every hole as none would evertoch each other, That is just hwo good I am. Not to manycan do thatandlooking at Yogi's target, I notice he never even come close to doing that.NOt brag now, mind u, just fact..

I'll say this, my forearms are sore from all the racking I did over the weekend, and my right hand feels like I've rubbed it down with sand paper. Also broke skin in a couple places from the grips, so I'm thinking a small piece of rubber bicycle inner tube will take care of that. Glad to get all the prep work done & get some rounds thru her, as I now feel 100% confident for CC. :D

Skip the bicycle inner tube and get the proper looking and feeling Qwik-Grip (http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=1150&CAT=84). The price won't break you and it is way better than an old stinky inner tube.

Hey! Don't malign my tube grips... they're perfect... fit and looks... and grip feel... just like my K9 rubber grips. I have them on all five polymers and still have over half a tube left. They don't smell... I washed the talcum powder out of mine and turned the tube inside out for a smoother look. I thought you "C" model guys were all about saving money... these grips can be free... using an old tube. I used a 1.75" and it fits even my P380's.

Excellent Tinman, great pic. At least I had the brains to use both forearms! Thx for the chuckle. :D

other than tired arms, hand racking can't hurt anything, some feel it does no good either. Probably both are correct. IO feel very confident it does limber up the recoil spring somewhat. . Now just shoot it like u stole it..
