Started reading reviews of the Ruger SR22 and the last time I took out the P22, the slide would stick on the hammer and not cycle the next round. So made the decision to trade it in. Didn't get much for it, 170.00, and bought the SR22 for 299.00, so out 140 with background. Like that the Ruger came with 2 mags, 2 grips and 2 pinky extender floor plates for the mags. Will get out to shoot it Thursday or Friday.

Chief, get yourself some CCI Mini-mags to break her in. Mine likes hotter stuff.
The bulk pack causes fail to cycles once in a while.
Have a blast with it. It's a cool little gun.

I have boxes of mini mags and golden bullets. I had the worst bullets I've ever used in the last box of mini mags. Don't know what happened on that box, but the entire box would jam, in my P22, and my friends Ruger they were jamming too. Some of the rounds when fired you could tell they were way underpowered. Not sure what happened with that box, but it sure has shook me from my confidence that mini mags are always good. The bulk pack of golden bullets were working much better that day.

My Walther cycles fine with the bulk pack and mini-mags, but does pretty much what CJ said when I use subsonics. Can't get through a single magazine without the slide either failing to eject or failing to chamber a round.

I normally wouldn't mind, except that I have a 22 suppressor, and dammit, the thing was obviously designed to run with a suppressor, since the barrel is threaded, and who's going to shoot standard velocity through a suppressor, and announce themselves with a sonic crack?

Grrr.

Guess if I want a suppressed pistol that actually works with subsonic, I had better get a threaded MK III upper.

The only complaint that I had with the SR22 is that the double action trigger pull stacked badly with a lot of creep. The single action pull was a bit heavy, but acceptable. All in all, the best of the breed.
