PM9 is not dropping the mag.
It will fall about 1/2 to 1 inch. It will easily pull out but not fall.

Any ideas of what I should do?

Thanks.

If that's important to you, either squeeze the magazines or remove material from the inside of the magazine well. I mention removing material as it is a viable option, but a mistake in the procedure could be disastrous and expensive to correct. Squeezing a magazine involves a component that is somewhat forgiving of error in the process and easily replaced if the procedure goes totally awry. Here's how Joe L did the "squeeze": http://kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=7325 (http://kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=7325)

VERY light sanding of the magazine tube with 400-grit or finer sandpaper may help, too... just to get rid of any "burrs" or edges. A light squeeze will probably do though.

has never dropped in 5 years and I would have it no other way. Never ha done to ever po on the floor or on the ground, I am very fast in removal if needed. I never carry a spare, so to me it is amute point. There are some in house fixes as GB stated and posted for u. I would do the magazines over doing anything tothe actual mag well. Once u remeove sumpin there, it is gone for ever. Kinda hard if ur carefult o realy ruin a magazine, but if u do u can buy just the magazine tube and start all over again.

What Wynn said. ^ :) Just wrap the sandpaper around a mag and insert it a few times, insert a mag and release it, and keep going 'til you get a free drop. Then, try all your mags in case one of them needs it sanded a little more. The beauty of this method is it fixes it for all your mags quickly, even if you have a dozen!

Kahr doesn't seem to sell the tubes and if you buy many magazine parts, you might as well buy a new one elsewhere and use the injured one for spare parts. You can't have too many mags. My lowest count is only 6 for the PM45, but I have over a dozen 1911 mags that I bought for it to experiment on. I now load up a bunch of mags before I go to the range.
