Hi all. I had been thinking about upgrading from my Kel-Tec PF9 to a Kahr for concealed carry, and I got my chance on Saturday. I picked up a new CM9 at a gun show for $389. I went straight home, broke it down and cleaned it, and went straight to the range. I love this gun! I put 150 rounds of S&B and 1 magazine of Hornady Critical Defense through it with zero problems. It is soooo much easier to shoot than my PF9! The only thing I noticed is that the checkering on the front of the grip is a little sharp for my tastes, so I have ordered a Houge grip to slip over it. A friend of mine is buying my PF9 tomorrow at the FFL for $200, so my upgrade was only $189 plus tax and paperwork. I'm a happy camper. Looking forward to hanging out here and learning all about this sweet little shooter.

Well I am new here and new to Kahr as well, but welcome. We paid exactly the same for our CM9s. Got mine yesterday and put 100 rounds through it today. I had a few problems (4 actually) but I am not worried about them. I want to run a few hundred rounds more before I see if this is the EDC for me. So from one nube to another, welcome

Welcome to the forum. The CM9 has been getting some terrific reviews, I think you made a good choice. I believe they are a big step up from Kel Tec.

Thanks for the welcome, guys. My Kel-Tec was actually a good gun. It was super light, very thin, and I never had any malfunctions. That being said, the CM9 is a lot more comfortable to shoot (which means I shoot it better). I'm looking forward to getting it to the range again as soon as possible.

Welcome from another fairly new CM9 owner. You made a great decision, the CM9 is a fantastic carry partner. After following the prep guidelines in the Kahr Tech section, I had absolutely no problems at the range! I've ordered the Rubber Talon Grips to help cover the "Cheese Grater" grips on the CM9. Enjoy! :D

Ditto everything that's been said to the two of you newcomers! Trust me when I say this is one of the finest, most enjoyable, helpful, educational forums you'll find on the web.

Welcome to the forum and enjoy your new pistols. Don't forget to watch the Kahr Take Down video because there are some areas that need care and instruction. There are lots of links on the newcomer sub-forum.

Welcome from another relatively new CM9 owner. It is a great pocket pistol. Your trigger gets better and better with more rounds down range. There is a ton of useful info and helpful people here that will gladly assist you with any questions. Good luck!:D

I have been shooting for over 40 years and had a small gun shop for 10 years of that. So I have owned and shot MANY hand guns. I will be moving to Florida in the next few weeks. On my side on the trip will be my CW40 loaded with Federal 135 grain Hydro Shocks. I could spend a lot of time explaining why but you already know why. O ya it also has the red dot (Crimson Trace) Believe it or not first time Kahr owner. LOVE MY KAHR.
