As a follow up to my post about adding a rail to my CW45 , I thought I'd post a little something about the tactical led I just got for it. After many years working in tactical units in law enforcement and in the Corps (looooong time ago..lol), I'm pretty familiar with most offerings of tactical and weapons mounted lights. However, believing them to be just cheaply knock offs of Surefire products, I had never really played around with any of the products from a company called Nebo until yesterday. By chance, I saw one of thier tiny rail mount LED lights in the case at, of all places, Walmart, and asked to see it. It looked well built, and for $29, knowing I could return it easy, I cided to try it out.

WOW...it says the light is rated at 190 lumens with a run time of about three hours. That was being modest. The light is BLINDINGLY bright...I put it next to my Ultrafire 501 rated at 800 lumens and due to the reflector in this bad boy, it was brighter by far up close and even lit up the trees over my neighbors house about 100 yards away. I left it running to test run time and it came in at full power just under the three hour mark, before starting to fade, but when I tried my own Ultrafire CR 123 chargeables that are 3.7 v and 3000mAh, it lasted almost three and a half at full brightness....very impressed with this little tiny light.
They offer many variations, to include green lasers, LED /laser combos, etc. For the money, if you guys have guns with rails and are looking, I would say give this one a try at least...here's a link to the one I bought. Walmart price is cheaper too...although I'm no big fan of walmarts politics.

Nebo makes some pretty cool products. You should check out their defender protec light bat. Remember the small wooden bats given away as prizes to kids at the AA, AAA and major league games back in the day? Imagine that one but aluminum with a flashlight in the end. It is sweet!
