Long time admirer, first time owner.

My first time here so I thought I should introduce myself.

I just picked up a brand new (to me) Kahr K40 last week to replace my not so beloved KelTec PF9 as my carry piece. This is one beautiful chunk of steel! I've only got about 50 rds through it so far but this weekend I plan to come home with a lot of empty ammo trays and a very sore hand.

I'm a recent Northern Virginia transplant after being a born and bred Buckeye for the first 50 years of my life.
My weekend fun consists of taking out old WW1-WW2 Bolt rifles and poking holes in targets from absurdly short distances.

Looking forward to learning more about Kahr pistols, I have a feeling this will not be my only one for long.

Welcome sir. In my opinion you chose the cream of the crop K model to start with.

I found Kahr when we were looking for a good size handgun for the wife to carry. She settled on the Kahr CW9 and I liked that size so much I found myself a K9 (I prefer steel to polymer but that CW is SWEET). When I went to pickup that K9 first time the wife touched it she told me she knew which Kahr she was going to carry so I went out and found another one.
