I installed a Pearce extension on the 6-rnd mag. I thought that the additional grip would be beneficial. But after 3 mags at the range, I noticed a "pinky slam". I don't have this issue without the extension or with the stock 7-rnd mag.

I've never found this to be an issue in other guns. Thoughts? I'm just about ready to sell the Pearce extension. Don't worry the PM9 is a keeper!

The front edge of my Pearce grips used to pinch my hand really bad, while the rear side edges used to gash my palm. I modified the grips by cutting parts away, sanding the edges, and finally dipping them in Plasti Dip.

Try adding a neoprene o-ring 3/4 I.D x 3/32 dia. Slide it down from the top so it rests on your Pearce extension. That size works for me as I was getting bit by the front part of the stainless base and the bottom edge of the grip. 43 cents at ACE.

wyntrout gave me the suggestion in another thread. It's his idea.

I'm not a big fan of magazine extensions. I have seen them cause feed malfunctions on other guns if you grip too hard.

I find using one compromises the SMALLNESS of the Kahr and it loses some of it's pocketability....if you need a grip extension get a bigger gun.

My PM9 with modified Pearce extension. Pocketability is still the same, and no printing! :D

I beg to differ....pocketability is not the same, it is longer and catches on pocket opening.

I ended up with one mag with the pearce and one without. Depending on how I want to carry I just switch out mags. All 6 round mags as the 7s had such a bad rep. For pocket carry the mag without, for IWB carry either one works
