View Full Version : Electroless nickel plating?

I have a Kahr K9 with the nickel plating. Does anyone have an idea as to why they stopped making them? Was it due to cost or durability?

Dunno the date, but going to stainless makes the cost and effort of nickel plating unnecessary

Not sure about the date but I think it was no longer than a year or so. The only one I ever saw was the Lady Kahr, which was actually NP3 plated, if memory serves.
