I was at WM today and checked, the label said Federal .45 100 rnds for $29.97 but the shelf was empty.

Yellow 250 rnd megapack of 9mm was about $60, but I was short on funds.

has anyone had problems with the steel cased Tul ammo?

ive used this in all of my non Kahr guns in 9mm and .45acp with out issue, but wonder how the stainless extractor and ejector will hold up against the steel casings.

this stuff is only $18.00 per 50 rounds (because its non reloadable ....)

never seen a kahr extractor break. I amsureit has happened but I wouldnot blame steel cased ammo. If it feedsOK, and for range fodder, that is one hell of a good price. I would even settle for a few james if need be for that price. I have some for my K9 ad it does not like umeither, but it is OK for range use as I don't care if I get a issue every once in awhile. It is not epedemic so I tolerate it as the price was so good when I bought it. I proablby won't buy anymore though to be honest. I will have to check with
AL GORE to get his opinion. It could be the altitude herein Indiana that is effecting the K9..

One of the two local indoor ranges doesn't allow steel cased ammo, the other I'm not sure. That's the main reason I don't use it.

Dang! I buy Blazer aluminum-cased or US/Czech brass-cased new stuff for $14 or $15 a box delivered. It takes some aggressive looking and buying it by the case, though.

I checked a Wal-Mart that I usually don't frequent and found ONE 100-round box of Federal 230-gr FMJ for $29.97... $32.07 out the door. It was way back on the shelf and I got it for more range fodder. That's a pretty good deal for local prices... if you can find any on the shelf.

My Glock 19 chews through the steel-cased ammo with no problem. I rarely shoot it out of my Khars as they seem to prefer brass.
