These are inbound: http://www.designergrips.com/samples/kahr/index.html
Will follow up with pics...if I can post em.
Excited to have a new grip option for the mk9. I have been in contact with several manufacturers, none which could/would produce grips for the MK9. So...quite thrilled to have these coming, looking forward to slapping them on.
Also, Paul at Designer Grips couldn't be nicer or more professional...an absolutely great guy.

I can't believe it!! Those look awesome. Very excited about that. I've heard lots of positive feedback from that company, they are the only company (99% sure) that makes grips for the seecamp pistols.

I can't imagine how they're going to look .

I would think the MK grips would be cool looking and also thin kand also with an open backstrap, would be less bulk than originals. the price is certainly fair and balanced.
I would think he should run those grips past AL GORE to see if he approves.
U know us Indiana-ion's buried Dan Quale, Mr. Potatoe man as did the republicans years ago, (actualy the day after the election was over) to be never resurrected again. I would have thought by now the Democrats would have done the same with ALPHONSO GORE, te bungleing idiot, and buried him after their last defeat, course that fokker is so hughe, that caskets would be hard to find and no douvbt he would have to hire his pall-bearers. Just sayin
Just seeig him on TV this past couple of days brought back all my pain and suffering in knowing that that idiot is still around and even getting TV time...
OOPS sorry about that, kinda got off track. Indeed super grips..

IMO I would not think they would be thinner than the rubber grips but certainly thinner than the wooden grips. Just sayin

yeah, there's really no point in making them thinner really... just crazi ol me out lookin for trouble... altho i do love the mk9 nylon grips... so thin and all... kahr should atleast make a few small batches for the k9 just in case a group of troublemakers show up at their door... just sayin...

Fata$$ is prosperous having made 200 million bucks or so hyping the sky-is-falling Global Warming... even after the big email expose' of the altered database proof and all. I'm so glad we dodged his being the POTUS/CIC, especially with 9/11!

I think you might have hit the wrong thread. Fata$$ is on another thread.

does he make um for the K9???
Jocko, Paul said if I send him a set of smooth grips (not the checkered wood and not rubber ones) he will make a set for the K9. I told him I would order a set next week and have them shipped to him.

Just got an email from Kahr that the smooth wood grips are out of stock and they refunded my money. They said they were not sure when they would get an new shipment. Does anyone have a set that they can send to Paul to use as a mold? Otherwise I will look for some others.

I would think the new K9 grips which are sorta plastic/rubber but nice and thin wouldbe OK for him to make a mold out of. I would not want a pair of his grips if theyr were as thick as the wood ones. Thin is good. YMMV. Just sayin

a nice pair of thinner k9 grips would be awesome... keep it thin in profile makes it more useful for carry... i think for range day, a full size cz75 or 1911 in 9mm should be brought along if you needed more grip...

can someone more in the know get in touch with Paul and advise him?

the mk9 screws are shorter thand the k9 screws... the nylon grips are very slim on the mk9 that's why people use the k9 screws for the mk9 wood grips...

Fit is good, took a little oomph to get a couple of the screws started, but got em locked on tight. I think these are spec'd identical to the standard nylon grips in terms of thickness.
Next up...the ol' MK9 goes off to APWCogan for 30LPI checkering, melt job, sights, and maybe a couple other things. Finish will be black...haven't decided between cerakote (APW can supply), ionbond or melonite (APW cannot supply, AFAIK). When done, I will consider my quest for the perfect CCW subcompact 9mm complete. Still hoping to find grips in G10 at some point. I'm really liking these carbon-fiber, but still gotta soft spot for G10.
