We watch Bones and Blue Bloods and saw some good and some bad. The good, one of Blue Bloods main characters was checking and holstering his gun, it went fast, but it was obvious it was a Kahr steel gun, probably a K9, but too fast to tell, bad guy made him throw it in the garbage, which provided a better look at it. The bad, Bones had the FBI guys shooting at the range and it was so bad it made my wife mad when I was yelling at them. None of them held a gun like they ever have before and when shooting the paper targets, they had them explode outward with no hole in the paper. If your characters are playing law enforcement, the least they could do is teach them how to look like they know how to use a gun.
