View Full Version : Poll Are You Undecided on Presidential Vote?

I keep trying to scoot past the TV my wife is glued to but still hear them blather about the still undecided voters will choose our next president. In my sincerest desire to avoid political posturing, my poll only asks if you are still undecided as for whom you will vote for president in November.
A straightforward yes/no so no fighting please.

Well, it's just the TV nuts keep talking like the undecided cross all of everything, and I refuse to believe that. Haven't met any gunners that after years of study cannot make up their minds on what they want for the next four years - either way. So, are the undecided really undecided or playing some kind of game?

I kinda looked at it , if a person is undecided as of now that tells me he isnothappy with the curretn president, so it is Romney's game to win. Just sayin

What I meant was in answer to the original question as to being undecided.
I'm in another universe/time line right now after having to cut down four trees today and staring at another four tomorrow. All close to the house or within take-out distance and leaning towards the house. Wife is paranoid about them falling on the house after the incident last week of a neighbor's tree taking out the power line. :32:

thats OK, kinda shows were are fair and balanced.. The NRA is sure pouringon the mails to me and other gun owners around my state concerning our local state elections. I see no problems with who they are endorsing winning it either, as they are repoublicans and Indiana willgo republican all the way this time, national on down.
thats wy the great one is not even cong to Indiana this year , he wrote us off after his first two years of being #1. He came here back in 08 and just campainged his ass ouff and told everyone exactly what he was gonna do and got um all excited becuase the republicans offered really no one, and he just fokking liked to everyone. IMHO, the blessed MEDIA has decided to broadcast who has already won this very important election for the sole reason to keep those who would vote the other way from turning out to place their votes.
I believe that some may even call this propaganda, used by govt's and medias across the globe.
As to the poll question, no, I am not undecided. If an empty can of Skoal was running against the current POTUS, I'd vote for the can.
And I HATE Skoal.

I dipped Skoal for 33+ years (5 of those years after having gum surgery) until I finally quit cold turkey (9 years ago). And, yes, I would still vote for the empty Skoal can before I would ever consider the empty suit for any elected office.

All it took was his comment to "Joe the Plumber" about him thinking that spreading the wealth around was a good thing. Didn't get my vote last time, ans surely won't get it this time. Just got the wife registered to vote as well.
They say that if you're a conservative before you're 30, you're heartless and if you're a liberal after 30, you're brainless. I guess I'm heartless because I didn't vote for that jack@$$ Kerry at the age of 20.

Not exactly true. The last time that happened it was the Gore Bush race and it was in Bushes favor where they called a state too early. Since then it's impossible to get any early polling data from the media before all polls are closed.

I'm much to proud of an American and served my coutry when asked to do so in the late 60's and there is no way I could possibly vote for the empty chair that's in office now. He stands for nothing that I believe in, or taught as a child. He speaks of Romney having secretes, when in reality Oby's whole past has been sealed from the American people. If he's got nothing to hide, and all his accomplished were so great and his actions so forthright then why are they sealed? Honesty is not one of his strongest attributes. Who will I vote for? The answer is simple. The American.

We aren't talking about actual polling data, as in asking folks who they have voted for (hopefully with a photo ID). We are talking about the media going out and saying that Obummer has already won this election without a single vote being cast.
The Gore/Bush debacle was during the actual act of voting. Remember the hanging chad?
Big difference.
I don't see how anyone can still be sitting on the fence after the debate?

Please for the love of all things good tell me your kidding. His whole life that has been presented to the American people is nothing but 100% fiction.
If you want to live in a socialist society (he is a socalist by the way) and have the gov't involved in every facet of your life telling you what to do then vote for him. Don't ***** when they come for your guns though and tell you that you don't need them anymore because we've (the Govt's) got your back, and we know what's best for you.

Mitt was wrong about the 47%. I'm on social security and that makes me a part of the 47% and I'm for Romney 100%. I too, like some of the provisions in Obamacare, but I don't like federal government running our entire healthcare system. It is definitley a split in the road in what kind of nation our country will be.
I think if the more socialist-minded folks would look at how things have went in other countries that took the distribution of wealth route (especially those with a HUGE group of people not contributing), they can plainly see it doesn't work. Opression for all is the end result.
Now if Romney wins, I pray that the fat-cat progressive mentality that has enveloped the republican party is tossed. That's where I hope Ryan will assert his input as a Constitutionalist. Both dems and reps have constantly complained about SS, yet EVERY president in the last 50 years has pulled money out of it to fund other social welfare programs for those who are not paying in. It has to stop.
As far as Romney's "47%", other stats have shown >50%. If I was Romney, I would use the "47%" as a platform - to prove how how we have grown a govt dependant society. Don't apologize for the truth. There are that many on the govt dole. If you paid in, no problem. But BO pulled the workfare out of welfare... what a smart move. "Now I ain't gotta do nothin to get my check!" There again, create that dependency. Hook 'em and keep throwing them table scraps. They'll vote for you again
That said, I agree that the current "leader" does not have one thing that he stands for that represents me, and my mind is and has been made up for 4 years. I knew where he stood then.

The only way you can get to 47% is to include those of us on social security. That's where Mitt erred in his statement. I don't hold it against him. Anyone can mis-speak. As of February of this year 45% of the population was receiving a check from the Government each month. Some of us earned those checks and some of us didn't. The point that Mitt was trying to make is that far too many of us are on government assistance who shouldn't be and on that point he was correct. For the first time in history SS paid out more money last month than it took in. What SS was originally intended to do bears no resemblance to what it does today. It has been bastardized by the democrats.

Guys, the question was are you undecided, not who you are going to vote for and why not the other guy. I was just trying to figure out the undecided thing and I still think they are just being coy.
There is a lot of rhetoric and it's getting terribly nasty as we get close. As fevers get high folks tend to get touchy and I really don't want friends here tossing grenades over the fence. So on that note I'm asking Bawanna to shut this thread down.

Here is what my sister in law just posted on Facebook:
Just finished filling out my absentee Ballot. Feels good to vote. Obama 2012.
One of her friends said she drank the kool aid, and she responded:
I don't need to Koolaid to help me figure out which candidate actually cares about me and the middle class as opposed to the one who blatantly despises those of us who are not millionaires. I also find it difficult to find any redeeming qualities in an individual who embraces the antiquated, misogynist policies his party has presented in regard to women. Hope you are enjoying your Koolaid.:) I won't even begin to diatribe about his lies and the love he has for the industrial military complex. War anyone?
There is simply no way to respond to that. It's simply proof that Obamabots are simple minded tools with single digit IQs.
But there may be more of them than there are of us! :(

There most assuredly are more of them. All the more reason to come up with an effective screening mechanism for voters.
Either we do all we can to educate them, or send them someplace where they can live taken care of the government from birth to death and every step of the way, or we Kill them.
The second idea is my favorite but last I checked still illegal. Probably a Liberal created law too.

If O wins and I'm really starting to believe that he will due to all the gimme mine Kool Aid drinkers out there then it might just be the time for like minded people to divide up this country again as happened in 1861...Now as a born and raised southener I don't happen to believe that split up was for the right reasons altogether and truth be known we were better off losing and keeping the country whole and great BUT THIS TIME things have gone way too far as to the great divide in some people's beliefs, morals and general principles and it may be time to draw a line in the sand and say fine ya'll take that side of the country and live in Government controlled Democratic socialism and we will take this side and live in the Republic of Freedom and Constitutional law where free men take responsibility for themselves and their family without interference from a looting and all controlling Government...

Perfect as long as we get what we created and stand for. The Military, industry, oil, and other energy products. We'll also keep the prison systems as the no doubt won't need them. We should probably keep the entire transportation system so we have plenty of means to transport those that slip into our borders that don't fit. Criminals, illegal aliens, you know your basic hanky stompers.
They can have the liberals, lawyers, same sex marriages, foreign presidents, gangs, fuzzy wuzzy slap your hand Law Enforcement and Rosie O'Donnel and Oprah, actually they probably fit into several of the previous prerequisites.
They for sure can have the unions, the ACLU, NAACP and AARP far as that goes.
If we get the East Coast that would involve a lot of people moving so I suggest we do the old North / South thing. Please be compassionate and leave the gate open till me and most, well some of mine get in down there.

Their answer is that it's our fault they're poor, so they ( the libs) have to stay here and punish us.
I think the libs are gonna have to prove they really mean it by offering to die for their cause. Most of us would offer to die in defense of freedom, why shouldn't they offer to die in defense of Marxism?
