Anybody here do any action jobs to your Kahr's? I polished the trigger bar and connector on my Glocks but the process looks more complicated for the Kahr's.

In my humble opinion, If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
I have the CW45 and worked on mine because I was having a trigger reset issue. I fixed mine but would NOT recommend doing this to anyone. As you have determined it is a more complicated task for sure. Some fun time at the range will smooth out any rough spots if there are any and if it doesn't, Kahr will fix it.
By the way since my trigger reset issue was fixed mine has been flawless for 300+ rounds.
Just my opinion.

Conventional wisdom is that shooting it will make it amazingly smooth.
I did not believe that at first, but now after a couple thousand rounds . . . it is demonstrably true for my PM40.
Yes, YMMV. But, I doubt it. And, for me, it was much more fun than polishing.
Did I mention that I have polished lots of other actions?
Shoot it and shoot it some more!
Kahr's action is such that its very smooth as is, and will only smooth out as any find surface marks rub down. It wont take much shooting.
You CAN add a 5lb Wolff striker spring... test that and see how it goes as far as reliability is concerned.

whtthe abouve two guys posted is dead right. U can send it off and spend a $100 on an ACTION JOB for your kahr and maybe IMO gain 20 cents worth of progreas. Kahrs are glass smooth out of the boxc, and they just gett better with more rounds down range to. It is amazing how many come on this forum and state after 200 rounds the guns just feels totally different.
Save u bucks, buy ammo, break it in yourself with rounds diwn range. Polish what u can get to with out dissassembly and ur good to go.
Some makes of guns sometimes need some TLC to get smooth. kAHRS imo DO NOT.

Yeah, I think you guys are right. I started breaking it down and then decided against it. There are more parts than a Glock and disassembly and reassembly seem harder. So, I think I'll leave it the way it is. It's not like the trigger is horrible or anything. My luck, I'd screw something up. Thanks guys.
