Hey everybody,
I just purchased my first Kahr Arms pistol, a CW9 for the low price of $309.00. It took me a few months of searching but I found it and for a great price down here in Tucson Az.
Now my question to all you experienced and intelligent Kahr experts is what is the best holster option? What are the best sight options? And I am also greatly interested in any advice about my CW9.
Thank you all in advance for the information.

Congratulations on your first Kahr. Great price! Holsters are a personal thing. It depends on how your intend to carry, time of year, how you are dressed, etc. I prefer appendix carry and use a Mitch Rosen clipper. I love the leather but hate the clip. This may or may not be for you. There are many members on this forum that will make some excellent suggestions. Again, congratulations on your CW9.

I love CLP! Trust that you know it will grab on the pants.. I sometimes wear it UNDER the belt.. if you don't like the clip due to cosmetic reason, you can get it covered by the belt.

There is a wealth of valuable information in the New Member Area (http://kahrtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=56) and the Kahr-Tech (http://kahrtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27) sections of the forum. It is very important that you follow the instructions when reassembling the gun and inserting the slide stop lever. In fact, there is a take-down video on the product page of the Kahr website. Look below the picture and click Videos.

My favorite carry holster for my CM9 is the PJ Holster IWB with Over the Belt Clip (http://pjholster.com/?page_id=37). I'm a lefty and I wear it at about 8:00-8:30, where it is so comfortable that I cannot feel it or the gun there. It becomes one with my body, doesn't shift around when I move and so it just vanishes from my perception. I literally have to reach back there and touch the gun to know it is still there! Oh, and Coach Paul is a great guy to do business with. :yo:

Outstanding price! Where did you buy it, pray tell?

Don't worry, I won't rush over there. I'm a "fotay" kind of a guy. But, I like to reward people with good prices and there may be other items of interest there.

Oh, and . . . Welcome to the forum! :)

I use a Galco IWB clip holster with thumbreak for my daily carry. If I'm wearing a coat or otherwise can hide it, I have a High Noon Slide Guard that I just love... it rides high up and out of the way and no retention strap.

I have the same Galco IWB for my previous carry, a Colt Gov't .380, and I cut the thumbbreak off for quicker draw, I may do that with my Kahr's holster. Just an option.

Wow! You got a great deal on that CW9. I got a Remora holster for my CW45. I wish I didn't get the sweat shield on it but other than that it's good. I have a Crossbreed Supertuck for my Glock and that's a great holster. I've heard nothing but good things about PJ holsters. All depends on how much you're willing to spend and what kind of material you want. As far as sights, I 'm looking at going with Dawson Precision night sights for the CW45. XS Big Dot sights are also available as well as Trijicon. Congrats on your new Kahr. Don't forget about the 200 round break in period.:hippie:

I'm a new CW9 owner and I purchased a De Santis Top Cop paddle that I love. Molded black leather that fits like a glove. It rides close, is comfortable and looks great.

Welcome to the party.
And I thought I got my cw9 at a steal it was new and came to 359 before tax.
As far as holsters go I would decide right now if crimson trace laserguard lg437 is appealing to you.
A lot of people hate taking off the sights because they are a b*tch to get off to put on xs big dots trijicon's or dawson precision.
And if you do not want to deal with the sights get a ct laserguard and then find a holster so you dont have to spend extra money on holsters and extra sights when you beat them to hard and the trinium breaks or leave marks on the sights even with a brass punch and hammer it happens."Always use a sight pusher tho". Really long run on sentence.ADHD Kicking in sorry.I mostly carry my cw9 in a don hume h715m iwb or mitch rosen express 38558 owb.

I carry my cw9 in a uncle mike's pocket holster. It was $10 on sale. I carry it inside the waist band, right side of my hip. I wear it all day at work. It is very comfortable and does not move at all. I paid $319 + tax back in March, new at sportsmanswarehouse when it was on sale. I could not pass on the deal. They had CW9,CW40, and CW45 for that price. I wish I had more money to pick up the CW45, but I picked the CW9.
