Just bought my first kahr, a black stainless PM9. Ive always been a Glock man, never leaving home without my G26. A couple of buddies have CW9's and love em. They convinced me to get the Kahr and swore I wouldnt be disappointed.
After qualifying with my new pistol, my buddy and I pulled out a steel target, approx 36" x 18", and started shooting at it from 25 yards. We are both extremely competitive, so things quickly escalated to a shot for shot duel. We moved back in increments of five yards with no misses until the 75 yard line. I held a little high and missed. My buddy said the impact looked high, so I put the sights center mass and scored another hit. My next miss came at 100 yards, so I aimed high again and hit the next three. My buddy didnt miss at all.
Like I said, this is my first experience with a Kahr. We were firing old duty rounds, Ranger Talons 124 grn. I have put approx 250 rounds through this gun with all kinds of ammo, some of it so old the brass was tarnished. I shot three mags as fast as I could pull the trigger with that crappy ammo at the end of the session. Zero malfunctions.
I love this little weapon. I trust it completely for back up and off duty carry. My next venture will be IDPA matches, once I figure out how to get my mags to drop free.

Welcome to the forum! Congrats on a super sweet gun! Check out the kahr prep section for some great tips! Sometimes all the mags need is a good wipe down with a silicone cloth and some in and out action and they will start to drop free. Ymmv. Best of luck with the IDPA! Let us know how it goes!

That's great shooting. I would need a 4' by 8' target to have similar results.

Welcome to the Kahr family. Glad you had a great experience with your gun. Beware that these guns can be very addictive. Trust me, I know.

Yeah, I am already making plans for a CM9 for my wife. I was pleasantly surprised at the accuracy and shootability of such a small weapon. My PM9 was lightly used when I bought it and the feed ramp/chamber area was already polished. It looks like it hasnt been fired or carried alot, but I dont know what prepping has or hasnt been done. Me thinks Im gonna find a good AIWB holster and some practice rounds, then leave it alone.
I do forsee spending alot of time lurking on this forum for tips, though!
