I have been running around with the Mernickle holster for my full size 1911 for about a month now and I must say that it has broken in and has got even better. I never thought that carrying my 1911 could be so comfortable. If you have a 1911 and think it is too big for carry, you might want to rethink that.

It is amazing isn't it. It's nearly as concealable OWB as a IWB too. Rides really nice.
I'm sure glad you like it and it works for you, I'd feel bad to have mislead anyone. They aren't cheap but they are worth every penny to me.

We both have the PS6. They do have a lot, and a lot of nice looking exotic stuff. Shame you have to wear it concealed all the time.

my 4" Kimber carries every bit as easy as my CW9. I've never heard complaints from those that carry a 1911.
Hmmmm.... a new holster or three would be nice:D

They do look great. I have a great officer's sized 1911 I never carry because it just isn't comfortable. This sounds like it could change that based on what y'all are saying.

Or you could just drop off the Officer 1911 to my house and not have to be concerned about the issue if that's easier.
Just trying to help anyway I can ya know?

obviously what it weighs isnt going to change but it is surprising that it isnt in the way as I thought it would be. I am 6' 250lbs BTW
