It seems like once a year I get all wordy and story-teller on the blog. Last year it was the story of the P45. This year it's a story of a wheel gun, but not just any ol' wheel gun. http://mousegunaddict.blogspot.com/2012/10/weigand-combat-custom-ruger-sp101-357.html

Rugers really have a rock solid look about them. Nice purchase.

I never thought of my SP101 as a "mousegun" more like a badger gun!
Hope this is not too out of line. If it is, remove post. Thanks

I changed the blog name to Pocket Guns and Gear several months ago. I agree that badger looks pretty angry.

like my MagNa-Ported 640-1 the only downfall with the sp101 is the weight; but its much appreciated when shooting true magnum loads.

I absolutely love shooting magnum loads through my 3" SP101. Took up reloading a few years ago so I could shoot more magnum loads at less cost. Course I really don't carry the thing with magnum loads in it. Just 38+Ps.
Plus, it really gets the attention of the other shooters at the range especially now that they've put a nice steel roof over the firing line. Reverberates like crazy.
