Surprise! K22 Revolver Outshot M41 Semi

60+, wear trifocals, iron sight shooting is tough

M41 w/red dot is easier

Haven't practiced with the 5 screw K22 in a month.

Said, "What the heck? Take it out of the safe and shoot it!"

Silhouette match this morning:

I scored higher with the K22 than the M41 (which I've been doing a LOT of practice with)!

Lesson Learned:
Do NOT neglect the K22! Shoot it!

Placed 2nd in my class in both irons and optics. Woot!

Doc, my K-22 was one of my favorite revolvers. I say was, because I recently passed it on to my #1 son. All of the K series S&W's shoot beautifully. Oh yeah, #1 son said that I can borrow it any time I want. I just have to return it cleaned and lubed. :)

Here's a M41 target from when I was practicing.

Red bullseye is 1.5"

I was spraying it with an inexpensive red dot and cheap ammo.
